We just ordered from here for the firs time since hearing chef of the year. My husbands pizza was good. He had the carnivore... pizza. I got the chicken Alfredo and it tasted like it was from a can, and the chicken was also not even real. Very unappetizingand off putting. No pepper no parm. Just yuck $20 I won?t be spending again. Update: Invited back by Dave and Chef tonight for a lovely meal. Pizza was just what you want, hot and fresh and that chew,... amazing. Tonight?s pasta and meatballs was fresh and light. The marinara was top notch. My husband eagerly finished every lastbit. Two cannolis to finish off a great dinner were equally delicious. Crispy and fresh with just the right amount ofsweetness. Dave was happy and excited to have us back and you can tell he and Chef take great pride in their food andservice. We?ll be headed back on another Thursday for a calzone for two special. They have different specials throughout theweek. Definitely recommend. My original 3 star review has been changed to 5 stars. Bad days happen, but these guys shinedtonight. Read more
Oh dear! We thought we would try Red door Cucina, as we heard the ratings were good. We ordered our pizza at 6:20pm for pick up,... my husband went At 7pm for pick up. It wasn?t ready ? seems he put hot peppers ???? on the pizza? We were given the option towait for another to be made or cancel the order. So, we wait another 20 minutes for him to make another one, but no mushroomsleft? Put another choice on the pizza. Looks like there was no sauce left either.(not that we like lots of sauce ? but somewould be nice). Did we catch them on a bad night? Not really worth the $22, just sayin?. Read more
Red Door catered a pizza party for us- our guests were greeted by the Wood burning pizza oven Dave set up in our driveway. First... up out were the gluten free pizzas- a delicious thin rice dough . Then Giovanni set to work- spinning his fresh dough intoperfect pizzas, with a variety of delicious toppings- and they kept coming, easily the best pizza in the Golden Horseshoe,beautiful presentation- and a lot of fun. Red Door has always had good pizza, but now with the addition of their new pizza maker Giovanni, it?s superb! Giovanni is a... G-enius with the best dough I?ve tasted outside of Italy. His beautiful presentation makes it tough to take that first bite?just the right ratio of toppings to dough. Keep up the great work Red Door. Read more
The Red Door Cucina catered my husband and I's property wedding in August. The food was delicious and the presentation was... stunning. Jacquilynn went above and beyond to provide amazing service and worked with our changing wedding plans. Our guestsloved the pizza & the selection of meats and cheeses. My family and I always loved the original Fazari's in Dundas. The re-vamped Red Door Cucina might just be that much better.... Hot, fresh, and delicious. Great selection of pizzas and pastas with plenty of fresh toppings. Overall amazing food and servicewith friendly staff and owner. Looking forward to many more visits in the near future. Read more
