We were disappointed mostly due to the ambiance. We were there on a crowded Saturday night and the noise level was deafening.... My wife and I couldn't hear each other across the table. Everyone had to yell to converse and voices echoed off the walls. I'mtalking stadium level crowd noise. Others were complaining as well and leaving or switching tables. We had such a headache as aresult that we really couldn't enjoy our meal. The food was pretty good. My wife had to sea scallops and I chose the filet.Both were cooked nicely. Service was pretty slow although somewhat understandable considering how many big groups were therethat night. It doesn't warrant a special trip to dine there again for us. Read more

Went to dinner there last night with family. Service and location were excellent. Menu variety was good too. The quality of... the food was not the best. Fish was dry - had to order extra sauce. Sides were average. NY Strip had a peppercorn sauce thatlacked peppercorn and kind of shrivvled on the meat - that was not the cleanest of cuts for a simple NY Strip. Good dinner, butnot completly "off the chain" as some locals suggest. Plenty of other steak restaurants I would go to before returning. Read more

Came to HEW for Thanksgiving day dinner and it was truly wonderful. The food was amazing as was our server. Mostly everyone was... so friendly and helpful. It wasn't a big deal... but, the only people who weren't very warm and welcoming were the 2 olderladies seating everyone, they also seemed a bit frazzled and overwhelmed... but, there was a gentleman (who I'm assuming was amanager) that came to the rescue! I went back up to the hostess stand after we were seated and one of the ladies was quite shortwith me and didn't even bother to ask what the issue was. But, I caught the gentleman on my way back to the table and he quicklyinquired about the issue and solved the problem in a flash all with a smile. He was all over the place and so hands on. Kudos tothe excellent management ???? And again, hats off to the chef ???? so so good! Our server was also right on top of everything???? and the valet was fast and great as well. Cozy high end steakhouse with a decent wine selection. Super friendly professional service. Nice change of pace spot for a great... dinner and drinks at the HiFi rooftop bar upstairs at sunset to finish out a great evening. Every bite was better than the one before. There were 4 of us and we all ate off each other's plates, so many flavors. Our... server was knowledgeable and good natured as we were high energy. What a nice place! People were very friendly, everyone wore masks, it was clean and welcoming! Food at the restaurant was very... good, Tomahawk steak was our favorite, perfectly cooked and presented! Flat bread and meatballs as appetizers were alsodelicious!! Boys enjoyed Old Fashion cocktails, my girlfriend and I really liked MC Queen cocktail. Also, there is a rooftop baron the 3rd floor, we had drinks and watched sunset after. Perfect night ????????
