Not super impressed with this place. I was brought out the wrong food which was an honest mistake however when I did get my... gluten free pasta it wasn?t great. We accidentally tipped over a water and another waitress yelled across the restaurant at ourwaitress that we had spilled the water which in my opinion isn?t very professional. And to finish it off were billed for dinnerwhen it should have been lunch prices (which was thankfully corrected). This place is a Wish version of Olive Garden?not great. Read more
My girlfriend and I loved it here! JLI was recommended by friends so we tried and now have a favorite. Service was excellent as... our drinks never ran dry before they were refilled and used dishes were promptly removed. The food is amazing! Get the garlicbread w/ Alfredo sauce and prosciutto! We got shells w/ beef and a Calzone. Both were wonderful and the leftovers were just asgood the next day. We're definitely going back. Read more
While on a trip visiting the nearby beaches we stopped here for some Italian food and were very pleased. The food was very good... - not heavy or greasy like a lot of American Italian food, it had more subtle flavors and spicing which was a nice change frommost eating out you do on a vacation. Good serving sizes as well. Also tried the chocolate cake and a canoli, both were verygood. Solid restaurant, if we visit the area again this will definitely be in the rotation. Read more
Top notch first class amazing experience. Food is amazing, atmosphere is wonderful. Music plays in the background staff is... efficient friendly and helpful. Food was sooo sooo good. Recommend fettuccine Alfredo with salad. We also ordered the spaghettiwith marinara sauce and lasagna. The mozzarella cheese wedges are also really tasty. No complaints. Great first experience. Service and food were amazing. Portions were great and the lunch prices were a steal! Highly recommend... the beef with shells. I wouldn't recommend the Italian wedding soup, this is truly the only nock. Read more
Eeyore loved it! What a gem of a place with excellent homemade Italian cuisine. Found this place accidently as it's not a place... you can easily see unless you are looking for it or strolling around the plaza it's in. The pizza is pure NYC. Perfect crustthat is crisp on the outside yet pliable enough to fold properly. The sauce along had a nice tang and the fresh cheese cookedperfectly. I say go light on the toppings to experience this pizza properly. If this pizza is the quality they put outconsistently, this will be my go-to pizza place as NY Style Pizza is what I like and it's a tough find around here. This placenailed it. Well worth the drive to Dunedin for this pie! Also had the Beef and Shells which was exactly as I expected it to be.Perfectly flavored and just like I make at home. This one a better choice though as I don't have dishes to do once done. Andthe salad made for a good starter. For desert the house made terimisu also hit the spot. Eeyore looks forward to more pizza asthe pie got his tail spinning. And look forward to trying other selections over the next year as this might become part of myregular rotation. This has become one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Dunedin. I?ve literally never ordered anything that wasn?t... exceptional. Having lived in the PNW for many years, I?ve struggled to find good salmon in Florida (for obvious reasons, butstill). Surprisingly, the salmon at Julian?s might just be the best I?ve ever had anywhere! (The Parmesan Crusted Salmon isseriously amazing!) The staff are friendly, funny, and attentive, and the food is consistently good. From the rich homemade bluecheese dressing to the variety of flavorful sauces, it?s hard to go wrong with anything at Julian?s. Read more
