I cannot remember the last time, when my tastebuds were activated the way they were at the Restorative over this past weekend. ... All four dishes were totally different. What a wonderful restaurant and amazing food. Highly recommend. Read more

I’ve been multiple times and every time the food is prepared with such care. The Restorative is owned by a husband and wife... team who switch out the menu every week. I highly recommend, such a unique experience every time. The last time I went, it wasall fresh and summer inspired ingredients and now that they are working with fall flavors I can’t wait to go back. Definitelya gem. Read more

I've had the pleasure of dining twice at The Restorative over the past year, and both experiences have been absolutely amazing.... Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, balancing flavor with artful presentation. The service was excellent and the dining roomhas a fun vibe -- with zero pretension. It has become one of my Dunedin favorites. Read more

We were so lucky to find this place! It’s chef owned and operated. Very small and cozy, probably seats about 20 people total.... The fact that the kitchen is in the dining room makes the dinner more enjoyable because you smell everything and it increasesyour appetite. My husband and I decided to go there for a Labor Day dinner and it went like this: First we ordered the kitchensink from the happy hour menu so we could try everything. I’m so glad we did! We had a bottle of 2015 California Pinot Noir. Then started out with the charcuterie board where we tried cheeses and sausages from all over Europe, from Albania to Spain. Then the chilled tomato soup, salad with soft boiled egg and a great homemade dressing, fingerling potatoes in this creamy sauceand the best part was the bucatini pasta with carbonara sauce, cooked to perfection and oh so delicious! We had to try theoctopus since they’re famous for it. Cooked in sous-vide served on beans and tomatillos. But that wasn’t even the best part.We completed this very enjoyable meal with the beet and goat cheese cake topped with caramelized walnuts. We highly recommendthis restaurant to anyone who enjoys high quality food with very reasonable prices. Read more
