Very nice clean, big and modern winnery. Must have been a big investment. It has a restaurant but it was too busy so I did not... try it. Plenty of parking available. Verdict : give it a try. Read more

Very nice place, well organize but the non-sugary wines are not the best. The sugary rosé was exceptional in my humble opinion... but the others not so much. And the red was way above average. Read more

An incredible facility but unfortunately they don't let you taste wines unless you book a sit down organized one. We had hoped... to just sample what we wanted when we wanted but that was a no go. Sadly we never got to try and of the wines. Read more

The recommended vineyard in Quebec. Tried ones in Ontario and other European ones. This one is not tasting at the COVID. So... bought the $28 most expensive bottle of Chardonnay for a try. Announced by the salespersons that it won the medal over blindtaste. The wine was also put in the American oak barrel according to the salesperson. They say the wine is chilled well foropening and tasting outside. When it is opened, they used the screw that doesn?t hurt the cork, but the temperature of the winebottle is not satisfactory. The taste is hmm, spice, wax and a bit smoky, worse than any bottle even in Costco. I wanna enrichmy knowledge in wine medals here, so I went online according to the photo I took at the shelf. Look carefully, the medal has2020 and 2018 on it, the bottle is 2019. Not even the medal has nothing to do with the bottle, the website has not mentionedthis bottle in none of these years. This is cheating that I don?t like. Read more

The place is beautiful. The people is so friendly. The tour is very good. The taste was amazing. The food in the restaurant was... excellent. In brief, I would recommend to live this experience at least once. Read more

Beautiful winery! They redesigned the customer experience (due to Covid19), with large information boards about the process of... how they make wine and the history of L'Orpailleur. I learned a lot about the techniques and the challenges they face yeararound. No wine tasting obviously, but a warm welcome and the staff can still answer your questions. If in area, don't miss it! Wine tasting explanation is less friendly than other wineries we?ve tried. I think because they are a bit lack of staff, so the... place was a bit busy. It looks like they just finished doing renovation and seems like a good upgrade. The view and the roomhere is amazing. Read more

Did a tour for $10 per person, you get a wine glass and three "degustations" that they choose (the blanc, the rose, and the part... d'ange), and a visit around the vineyard and a look at the machines. Was guided by Pierre, who was very informative andfriendly. Also tasted the ice wine (one degustation for $2), which is definitely a must try. The space is lovely and you canstay in the area for a picnic, etc. Read more
