Where to begin? October 2, 2022. The only things that were good were the toast and chocolate milk. We should have known this... would be bad when we sat down and there were three dead wasps in the window sill. I ordered my egg fried over hard, and when itcame out it was still runny. I mentioned to the server that I ordered it over hard and instead of just bringing out a new egg,he took my whole plate, so I was left without any food while the rest of my table was eating theirs. When it came back, it wasbetter but not great, and my plate now had an orange slice and tomato on it. The sausage was at least hot the second timearound. FYI when you ask for water, they bring you a bottle and charge you $1.25. Bacon was undercooked. Bathroom wasdisgusting. Do not go here. Read more
We took our daughter here for lunch and it was not a pleasant dining experience. The server was great but the food was... atrocious, the fries were cold, the chicken club had a chicken burger on it and the pierogies were deep fried and way to hot formy daughter to eat - she couldn?t eat her meal when we were eating. If you are ordering take out, beware that the prices on thewebsite are different than what?s on the menu. Definitely would not go back again. Read more
I hosted an event for 36 and had catering done by Julia. Was amazing. My guests enjoyed the food it was excellent!! They... delivered in time as promised and all was such an amazing help to me so so I could enjoy my guests. Mamma and papa small town restaurant in Dunville Ontario. Another hidden gem. Pricing is reasonable. The decor is retro yet... modern. Multi functional facility with dine in service and on certain days, cafeteria style. Has a ice cream parlor in thebuilding. Was having lunch and watched customers walk in just for ice cream. This place is fabulous. My family has been here many times for takeout which was always delicious with generous portions. This... was my first visit dining in and both the atmosphere and staff were wonderful. So the most important part... the food...perfect. Large portions of fresh and delicious at very, very reasonable prices. We enjoyed spinach eggs florentine, veggieomelet w cheese, huge pancakes, and breakfast wraps all with home fries. Julia's Bistro in Dunnville is a very sad restaurant, certainly a disgrace to Italians. Each item we ordered tonight was awful.... This is NOT bruschetta bread! It was literally just topped with HUGE chunks of onion and tomato (Not at all what's mentioned onthe menu). The pizza tasted like an uncooked store bought, the fries and shrimp were cooked in dirty grease, the gnocchi tastedlike ravioli from a can. None of the food was worth the price we paid. It looked like a complete mess, the amount was verylittle and to top it off, they were a half an hour late and it came to us cold. Read more
I'll be honest the first time I went I did not enjoy the salad. I loved the burger. 2nd time going with my family was much... better. Additionally, the customer service was wonderful! The lady was working her butt off to ensure that we got what wewanted and paid for. I will be back to rate another dish! Thank you, David Read more
It was my first time here and definitely my last. I don't even know where to start. It was all so bad. There were four of us... eating. First, we ordered our meals, specifically asked for eggs to be made a certain way. It was noted by the server. The foodtook a bit long but they were busy - not big deal. When we received our food there were so many issues with everyone's order(there were four of us!): for the poached eggs, both eggs were cooked differently, one medium and one boiled. It was greeninside because of how overcooked it was. Once order was florentine and was served with spinach that was once frozen but stillhad that bitter, bland taste. Nasty! The mushroom served with it weren't event cooked, they were still fresh and covered inthat nasty spinach. Next order, we asked for eggs to be served hard and they came back runny. They were sent back and returned,still runny! Now, on to the meat: bacon was so undercooked it was like rubber and it was COLD. The sausages we ordered were COLDas well. They forgot our side dishes, a pancake yet still charged us for it. It was a disastrous of a meal and we will never goback. We still ate our meals and didn't bother to complain because they had one staff running around, the other guy was focusedon a catering order. Do not recommend. We should have waited 40 minutes to go to the Pothos Cafe. Read more
