We go to Carbonara Trattotia because my husband loves loves the Spaghetti Carbonara. Instead of our usual appetizer of Caprese... Salad my husband wanted to try the Fried Green Tomatoes which in the description only says with "Pomodoro Sauce". The tomatoesactually are fried with Goat Cheese. What a mistake ordering this appetizer. The taste of the hot Goat Cheese was not to myliking and repeated while I tried to enjoy my entree. I had to have my dinner packed up to take home. The Spaghetti Carbonarawas outstanding and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. But, I would warn anyone tempted to order Fried Green Tomatoes - unlessyou Love hot fried goat cheese - DON'T. Read more
Nice local eatery serving authentic Italian fare. Their outdoor dining area is not as picturesque as others in Atlanta but the... food and service make up for lack of ambiance. We had wedge salads, then tagliatelle bolognese and trout. The trout is servedwith mashed potatoes and green beans. Their bread is worth noting and is better than most, especially with olive oil and herbs.We keep this restaurant in heavy rotation and will certainly return. Read more

We went here based on the reviews to celebrate a milestone in my husband’s healing after a stroke. We are from out of town,... staying with family. The food was very good. However our waiter did not offer us any daily specials and we heard other waitpersons offering specials after we ordered which sounded really nice. It seems that the “locals” received differentattention. When we talked to the manager, he offered an apology but did not seem overly concerned. They did offer us a freedessert but we had already had dessert and paid our bill. We felt very much like our business was not valuable which made ussad. Oh well,there are lots of options in Atlanta. And I just realized the manager and/or owner never respond to any reviews sothat says a lot about how they feel. Read more
We are visiting Atlanta from North Carolina. We were craving a good Italian meal so we tried Carbonara. We were delighted with... the pastas and especially the short rib. It was a large fat free piece that was full of flavor. My wife got the pasta and it wasnot boxed pasta definitely hand made..Very impressed with the staffs team player ways of taking care of diners. Amazing place loved the ambience and people we got served. I love to visit again this place. We were looking for reservation on... a very busy night of the year 2021. Here are my thoughts about what I ordered: My old fashion wasn’t the best, but okay. The appetizer artichoke were not bad at... all. For my main dish, the potatoes were too dried to my taste and the fish lacked seasoning (a little bit of salt would havedone wonder). The sauce that paired with the fish was amazing on the other hand.
