This Applebee's is connected to a hotel, which is right on the waterfront of the Animas River in Durango. It's a busy place, but... parking is adequate. Restrooms were also clean. We were seated right away, but very shortly thereafter, we asked to be moved.This was because of the overly loud conversation two tables away, where every second word was an F-Bomb. The hostess was happyto help. We ordered quickly, but food delivery was very slow. About 30 minutes, which was not acceptable. When the food didarrive, we enjoyed a small Caesar Salad, which was big enough to be a meal, and a Cajun Burger, along with a delightfulconversation with other guests across from us who were from Israel. I really hate to do this, I hate to leave a bad review, BUT, this is not the best of the Applebees. When we arrived there only... about 5 tables being used and 2 or 3 patrons at the bar. We were told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. Okay..we were seatedsooner than the 20 minutes, which was great. We were seated in an area near the bar, which was fine, there was a waitressserving 2 tables there, no problem. We waited 30 minutes before the bartender walked over and asked if he could help us? Wethanked him and told him we appreciated it as we didn't know who our server was, he chuckled and said, "honestly, we didn'teither." Really? Lots of folks there were 2 or 3 others walking around not doing a lot of anything and there wasn't a lot of togo orders coming in. At any rate bless him, we had to tell him several times what our order was. Our drinks from the bar weregreat ,but our appetizers and food came at the same time. I had the penne pasta, part of it was cold and some of it was warm butthe order overall we had was correct. While waiting for our food, the kitchen was right next to our table and apparently someonewas having a bad night as the next thing we know someone started yelling expletives, GD, MF, SOB why we have no idea. Honestly,I can't recommend this place for families, I would be hesitant to recommend it at all given the service. The only positive wasthe drinks and our appetizers. I felt the bartender was doing the best he could. The parking is also inadequate. If this is thelast place to eat ok, but if you can go elsewhere I would. Can't sugar coat this one. The service was slow and it was not busy. The food was some of the worst I've had in a long time. Had... the chicken tenders plate and both the chicken and the fries were hard, chewy and no flavor like it was leftovers fromyesterday. I've literally had week long leftovers that was better than what this place actually had the nerve to serve me. Read more
This place was so short handed. But they took good care of use and all the other customers. Our food was brought to us very... quickly and the waitress was great. They apologized but in my eyes there was no apology needed. Thank you Applebee's for agreat lunch. Read more
The food was great, well cooked! The service by Daesha was OUTSTANDING!! We were in for dinner after a long day of work. It was... not very busy when we arrived, but shortly after it was quite busy. Daesha did an amazing job working her section andmaintaining all her tables! Next time we're in town we're going to see her again!! Read more

Ordered med well steak and it was raw since we ordered through Doordash we had to get out to take it back. Defeats the purpose... of Doordash. This is not the first time but thought we would give them a second chance " won't make that mistake again" Read more
