Went two different times to get a gift certificate for Christmas. You’d think a local business might be interested in having... those available to local customers around Christmas time, right?! Well, not so much! First day I was told by cashier shedidn’t know how to do a gift certificate. Next day I’m told “oh, we’ve been out of those for a long time.” Nothingabout could we mail it to you, gee, we appreciate your business, sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing. I love Jean Pierre andI love his croissants, but his staff is seriously lacking. Seems all they want is walk in tourist business. So, l guess that’swhat they will get. Read more

Traditional french bakery with antique and rustic ambiance serving amazing pastries and breads with bottomless mimosas and other... cocktails. Visited here for brunch and had a really great experience, home made jams were the highlight. They do have goodbreakfast and lunch options to choose from. Read more

Amazing food! Just perfection! Our waiter, Victor, was fabulous and working his tail off, along with the rest of the staff! They... were short staffed but it was so worth the wait! The quiche was the best I’ve ever had and don’t miss their mixed fruit jam!Victor gave me two snack containers to take home too! Read more

Fantastic bakery and a lovely place to have brunch! Skip the sideboard breakfast, it didn't have all of the components listed on... the menu. The French toast and crepes were both delicious! And take some macarons to go, they are amazing! Read more

The Jean-Pierre Bakery is one of the finest breakfasts my family has had. There are many particular tastes among the kids (picky... eaters), and they all agreed it was the best. The crepes are absurdly good, and the fruit bowl is a delight. Ambience iscomfortable, cleanliness is obviously paramount here, and the staff are personable yet professional. If you are so blessed tosit at one of his tables, Victor is a model of excellence in wait staffing. The other staff are also amazing! If you areDurango, visit Jean-Pierre Bakery. If you are just thinking of visiting Durango, do know that this bakery will make the tripworth it. Read more

A Slice of Paris Having been to France four times, we enjoyed the authentic French atmosphere during our breakfast recently. The... entrees were big enough to share and delicious. Best omelet I've ever had, by far. The quiet dining room is adjacent to thebakery counter and was decorated in the manner of a true French cafe. Server was friendly and efficient and we would recommendthis restaurant to all. Read more

We had a nice time at this French bakery in downtown Durango, Colorado. They have great selection of pastries and other... delicious dessert cookies and other delightful products. The only thing I could critic in a negative way that there was thiswhite male server (short-yellowish hair), He seemed a little bit insecure and lack of sense of appropriation. He needs to bemore personable and friendlier with customers. A positive and welcoming nature are very much appreciated and always delightfulto experience with. That’s all. However, we are bravely both saved and enthused by this African American sever who hadnicely attended us. He was more professionally attentive and unquestionably friendly to welcome us. We appreciate that verymuch. Love to see a positive energy especially at early in the morning. Read more
