Just wow. We had the best evening here. The beer was phenomenal (we've been drinking it for years and it tastes even better at... HQ!). The food was great too. But the best part were the staff. We got to know CJ a bit and really enjoyed our conversationswith him. The team kindly let us park our camper there for the night and in the morning, they had left us a six pack of ourfavorite beer on our camper doorstep. What a special touch. We were looking for a place that is both family and dog friendly, and we found it at Ska. We had a little bit of everything. The... food was top notch. Most of the family had pizza-- the crust was so good. The sandwiches we amazing and the drinks satisfying.There were plenty of nonalcoholic choices for the kids and every beer we sampled was so good. I've been going to Ska for quite some time. They are one of Colorado's best known breweries. And while I haven't always had the... best time there (once, they had an inordinate number of seltzers on tap), over the long haul, they have always delivered in:atmosphere, beers and some really terrific service. You can expect a healthy amount of "standard" beers on tap and some decentselections of smaller batches and experimental beers. Oh, and they do mixed drinks & liquors as well. Food is damn tasty aswell. What I appreciate about their food selections, is that they don't try and muddle up the dish with too many flavors, theykeep it simple. Smart. We?re here on vacation, and stopped in for lunch (and ended up staying most of the afternoon) with our dogs. Great patio with... quality beer (and delicious food). Definitely one of the best breweries we?ve been to. We did 3 flights between my husband andmyself and tasted all but a couple of their beers. There?s something for everyone. Our waiter was amazing. Ska Brewing is a solid place. Great beer, fun tasting room that gets bigger every time I roll through Durango. The food options... are decent and decently priced, which is good, because those beers may need some offsetting if you stay a while. I come to thiscity every time I go through Colorado BECAUSE of this brewery. Read more
We loved our visit at Ska! We stopped for lunch and drinks during a recent road trip. Our server was so friendly and helpful. ... The beer was good and the sandwiches we ordered were amazing with huge portions. It was too cold to be outside when we went,but their outside area looks like an awesome place to chill and have a drink when it's warm. I wanted to take a moment to think and compose the perfect review because that is what my experience with SKA was; PERFECT back... story, i planned a memorial service for my late husband and wanted a very low key reception for afterward. Meg was the BEST!She & Jordan coordinated everything after going back and forth mainly because i couldn't make up my mind on the menu and wherewe should be served (there were 25 of us). It was an emotional occasion and Meg was very considerate of that and my budget. Sheworked very closely with me to make certain all was perfect and it was. We ordered ahead of time and when we arrived theappetizers were served and shortly thereafter the pizzas were served. and Yes, the food & beer were amazing as well as theservice, my husband would have loved it; we all did!. it was a very lovely way to end a memorial service and i am very thankfulto SKA and Meg for making that happen! kudos to a great staff!
