Usually frequent here, the staff is always friendly , food is usually good . We were a little frustrated when strawberry was... all over my toast . I had no strawberry on my order , my son had somethingon his food also . We had a discussion about crosscontamination. Be back in and see , if back to good I will renew the review . Read more
I love IHOP, but this location too often does not make the cut. Breakfast food is almost always great, but nothing else. Have... received cold, hard appetizers. Cold coffee. Multiple occurrences where almost every table needs to be cleared throughout ourentire visit, despite very few customers being present and staff not busy with much. Only half the time is there a waiter thatis even half decent, though there are some great ones. One time went there to study with a partner and were there a few hours-paid our nice waitress her tip early and said we wouldn't need anything else, cleaned our own table, but kept being treated likea burden by other staff- even though we were quietly keeping to ourselves in a corner, while the rest of the place was empty ofcustomers-so it's not like we were going to take up a table that could've been used for someone else. Honestly we had planned toorder again once we were finished, but by that time we were just over it. Just overall, more negative experiences thanpositive, unfortunately. But since Durant is small, we'll probably keep going every once in awhile, for breakfast food. Willdefinitely update if it ever starts turning around. Read more
The food was cold and hard! Our server was the only good thing about this place. She was very professional and on top of her... job! The kitchen staff on the other had was cussing and slamming pans and laughing so loud we could hear them at our table onthe other side of the restaurant. As we was wait for our food we see black mold all over the ceiling. Read more
Y?all this was an amazing breakfast. Had the pumpkin spice jr pancake, 1 Turkey bacon, 1 Turkey sausage, an egg. Omg the taste... was omg wow ???? Must get again when I get home. The pumpkin spice pancake isn?t overpowering like most pumpkin spice thingsare. Read more
It gets surprisingly busy at 9-10 PM or so on Friday night. I think we may have been at the beginning of a rush. They had one... server who just kept running and really did a stellar job especially considering she was the only one really on the front. Shemay have been overwhelmed but she did not once take it out on the customers and was continually polite and didn't leave uswithout anything. Please get this lady some more help and pay her better! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating to my family and I. My 3 daughters love coming here and ask to come here all... the time. The food is usually really good. If there is ever a problem with the food, it's taken care of appropriately. Mistakeshappen, it's no biggie. We've had servers go above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience. Always Short staffed. But friendly. IHOP needs to pay their employees better. Maybe then employees will stick with them. Food is... average and fairly priced. Management needs restraining. One waitress can't continue to run everything alone. Read more
The Durant IHOP is the best one I've been to in 20 years. Everything was good and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive,... but let you have your space, (I hate when a waitress or waiter is in my face every 5 minutes). But just a look over yourshoulder and you got service. I was on vacation so I just wanted a good, quick breakfast and to go back to bed. And they helpmake that come true. I loved it. Read more
