I come here once a week for lunch. It's even better since it's cold out lol. I always order sake and ramen. I've had each type... of ramen here and I love them all! The appetizers are great too! Read more

My wife and I were craving sushi after work and stopped by here. The staff was very nice and the sushi tasted great. We got the... California rolls and enjoyed them. Read more

Tried their Ramen for lunch today. Pretty tasty, I'm really trying to get a sense of what traditional ramen should taste like so... I'm not sure how I can compare it to the premium modern ramen I found in Boston. Definitely going to be coming back to try outsome sushi and bento! Read more

I want to give 4 stars because who still requires a mask, but the sashimi was some of the best I've had, so I can't. Every piece... just melted in your mouth. Customer service was great. Get rid of the mask requirement and I'd give this place 6 stars. Rollsare way overpriced but if you get 2, they are 50% off so that makes up for it. Read more

My fiancé and I, as well as friends and family, go to Akashi all the time and have been doing so for years! They always have... great sushi, and I love their sashimi; the best part is their rolls are BOGO! There was only 1 time in the 20+ times I've wentthat I ordered scallop sashimi (hotategai), and it was not very fresh, unfortunately but I'll still give them 5 stars because noone can be perfect 100% of the time. I also would never get a fried roll again, anywhere for that matter as we got the deepocean, and it was rather bland. However, that's my fault for choosing something I already knew I likely wouldn't care for (itjust sounded so good on the menu), lol. At any rate, this really is one of the best Sushi Restaurants in Raleigh/ Durham/ RTPif you're looking for amazing food while not breaking the bank like if you were to go to M Sushi in Durham, or even Waraji inRalegh (no bogo and you'll spend $160-$250 on a date night for 2).. I've been to both of them several times, and M Sushi, forthe cost, is the best sushi/ sashimi you will ever put in your mouth on the planet! They literally fly their food in on a dailybasis from Japan and New Zealand. I will also note that I've been to 30-40 different Sushi restaurants in the Raleigh/ Durham/RTP area so please rest assured, I am a sushi die hard and have even traveled extensively across the nation and eveninternationally eating sushi so you can count on me for a good, truthful review. Here's a couple pictures of our take-out lastnight, which does not do the dine-in presentation justice, but it was still delicious!!! Read more

Had a very meh experience on Saturday night (10/23). We weren't acknowledge for about 5 minutes after walking in but that part... was fine cause you could see the workers hustling and bustling around. I ordered the salmon bento box, this must have been thecheapest cut of salmon because I literally had to question if it was really fish. My daughter had the chicken bento box whichwas more veggies than chicken and my hubby had the hibachi combo. The service was nice but the food left much to be desired sowe probably would pass on this spot the next time. Read more
