THE ORIGINAL LOCATION! Juan, one of the employees, was extremely kind and friendly with me and my partner when we picked up a... catering order for our farm. He filled me in that this is the original location. Told us it was the "five guys of the northCarolina" (lol) and that people love alpaca because it tastes like home everytime. I'm inclined to agree. Stopped by for lunch at this Alpaca for the first time. I would usually order the chicken when I visit other Alpaca, but this... time I ordered the Peruvian fried rice (arroz chauva). The food was good and it also came with a salad and dressing. Howevergiven that it is a bit more expensive and the portion not as big as the regular chicken I get, I am not sure if I would orderthis again. I think I?ll stick with the rotisserie chicken. Better than I remembered. Used to eat here frequently when we lived in Durham. Prices back then (2018) were much lower, and I... always felt Alpaca was more about the value than the flavor. Eating here in August 2022 I am pleasantly surprised with howdelicious it is, especially the chicken and the green beans. Will be back. Read more
