The hostess is a truly miserable person who refused to seat my family. She said there was a 45 min wait she lied about as a... hostess you seat until the tables are full. There was a dining room filled with seats and only three people families partieswhatever were seated. She just didn?t want to work on thanksgiving. I?m convinced she was trying to ruin our day with badcustomer service. Find better help please! People willing to actually work! Read more
Had a delightful time at Bob Evan's. Our waitress Audrey was very courteous. She bought our drinks quickly and took our order.... The food was brought out in a reasonable time. The sausage mushroom omelet, banana bread, Wildfire Chicken Salad and beefvegetable soup were delicious. I highly recommend the strawberry pie. Yum! We noticed mixed reviews, but we were impressed bythe wonderful service and quality of the food. Will return to Bob Evan's again. ???? Read more
The food was great, the reason I have to score this establishment so low is the service! We had a server (whose name I can't... remember) but she had a deep Russian accent, worked the day shift, and was perhaps the most rude person I've encountered inrecent times! We were in town to drop out daughter off for her very first day of college. Basically our whole family was thereincluding both daughters, my wife, mother in law, and grandmother. My grandmother asked this lady for a senior menu and shedisrespected my grandmother with her answer by Basically saying if you don't see it on the menu, don't ask about it! My fiancé and I visited for breakfast on July 4th. The hostess immediately greeted us and said the wait time was 20 minutes. We... could tell that the restaurant was short staffed when we looked around, but we stayed. We talked to another couple while waitingto be seated. Twenty minutes went by fast. The waitress greeted and took our drink orders about 2-3 minutes after we sat down.It took about 15 minutes for our order to be taken. It would've been taken sooner, but she was dealing with an unreasonablecustomer at the table behind us. Anyway, the food was served hot and was delicious. This evening my family and I enjoyed a small get together at this restaurant. Our attendant, Tonya, made this the most... delightful event you could imagine. The food was spot on delicious as usual. We all enjoyed fresh hot food right off the grill.Large portion sizes is always a plus coming here. To top it all off the reasonable prices in addition to a generous militarydiscount really saves wear & tear on the ole wallet. Read more
Came here for breakfast at 10am. It's not too crowded. Food came out warm but not piping hot. The strawberry lemonade is not... fresh very syrupy. Otherwise everything was good. Food has a good flavor and large portions. I just wished it would've beenserved hot. Read more
If only 0 stars was an option. We should have known when we pulled up to the parking lot at prime dinner time and only 3 cars... were there. Being from out of town and excited for a nostalgic meal, we decided to venture inside anyways. We were promptlyseated and asked for our drink orders. We ordered a caramel cappuccino but were told the machine was broken. I asked if thewildfire salad was good and the waiter responded immediately that it was great. My friend ordered the honey butter chickendinner and I got the salad. Our food took forever to come out and that's when we realized our waiter was the host, waiter, andcook. There were 3 additional employees present, but 2 of them were too busy talking to help our waiter, the other was somewherein the kitchen likely washing dishes based off the clattering sounds. When our food arrived my friends "fresh baked bread" wasstale and inedible. My salad had 1 cold chicken tender chopped over it and no sauce. Despite being the only table in therestaurant, I had to ask for refills on water and they only brought one for me, not one for my friend that also needed a refill.We had to interrupt the employees conversation to get our waiters attention and he brought us the bill even though my friend hadno yet received her dessert. At check out, I asked our waiter why he was the only person working and he responded they wereunderstaffed. Clearly that was not true, because there were two other staff members just talking behind the counter. Needlessto say, if the parking lot is empty, heed the warning. Don't hold out hope like we did. Chapel Hill has too many great optionsto have an experience like ours. Read more
