This is the best Thai food I've had in the triangle. I find that a lot of Thai places make their food really sweet - not the... case here. Their Swai + salad entree is amazing, the salad is so fresh and zippy and the fish is fresh and super tasty, enoughfood for two dinners for sure. While visiting Durham, NC for a business trip, my family and I decided to look for a Thai restaurant and upon almost every Thai... restaurant not opening until 5pm we ended up finding Bua Thai! Coming from New Orleans with such incredible food my expectationswere not high, BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! Everything we ordered was delicious! So delicious that we forgot to take a photo until wewere almost done! Just looking at the photo you can tell we enjoyed our meal! Read more

These folks are so kind and the food is crazy delicious. They are able to make food as hot as you can take and still be... flavorful. Andrea is great with people and the owner is a very sweet woman that seems yo care about your experience. I can saythis was one of the most if not THEE most wonderful experiences on a restaurant I have ever had! I will be back as soon as I getto that area again. A great choice. Great people. You know a place is good when you absolutely forget to take pictures of your plates. Awesome portion sizes, sweet staff, and... delicious foods will draw me in for another visit. I wish they were closer to me so I could have their takeout on the regular. Read more

I’ve lived in NC for several years now and finding great authentic Thai food like back home has been quite the challenge. ... With so many Thai food restaurants around the triangle with good and mixed reviews, I simply could not decide on where to go. I’ve passed Bua many times but that’s about it. While inTarget a few weeks ago I overheard some people talking about greatThai food and how authentic it was, just like the food in Thailand. What I heard sparked my interest and when I asked wherethis place was, they directed me to Bua Thai Cuisine. Fast forward three weeks later and here I am ordering food here. I’mglad that I decided to give this place a try. The Pad Thai (w/out peanuts) was delicious….. best Thai food I’ve had sincemoving here. I was quite impressed and my family enjoyed it as well. The staff were so polite and friendly, I loved it! Iwill definitely be dining here again and will eat in for my next visit. Would I recommend this place, absolutely! Read more
