We thoroughly enjoyed our first time here. We came for brunch on the weekend and sampled their libations as well as a biscuit... and breakfast platter. Love the local partnerships for coffee and atmosphere. It?s great to see Durham growing and diversifyingover the years. Even with a line outside we ordered and food came quickly. Highly recommend! We were a big group and they had no isses with us at all, food came out hot, quick and so so very good. Everyone at our table... comments about the flavors and how well everything went together. This place definitly helps to define the 100% positive vibegoing on in this downtown Durham neighborhood. They have a huge "Brown Turkey" fig bush out front and this time of year theyare extra bonus treat for us fig lovers. The staff and patrons are all very cool people. 13/10 for sure... give them a try! FYI, the "Moma's Big Bird" just make my list of top 5 sandwiches ever. Read more

Friendly staff. Good food. Decor and setup is so cute. It's a kinda different set-up..you order at register and then get seated.... Staff share a tip jar vs the people who come and bring you your food. Would definitely go again. Read more

It's an nice cozy place. The mimosas are strong n good! We sat outside upstairs. It was sort of hot but we managed. I ordered... the West end grits bowl. It wasn't bad. I just wished my egg yolk wasn't running. My friend had a chicken biscuit with bacon. Her biscuit was sort of dry and crumbly. The side of maple peppered bacon I ordered was the best thing next to our drinks. Read more

Excellent food! I got the brussel sprout sandwich and it was so delicious. I do think this place could be improved with more... efficient ordering. There was a long wait in line, but plenty of open tables. I much prefer being able to sit and order onlinefrom my phone if table service isn't available. Read more

Good service and a nice spot. The food here was phenomenal the first time I came a couple years ago. It was good this time, just... not good enough to bring me back again. The breakfast hash bowl is legit sliced corned beef with some flavorful peppers undersome blandly cooked potatoes. 2 slices of bacon for $3 as a side is pretty ridiculous too. Read more

You know the food is good when it?s 2:30 pm and there is a line out the door. What an experience to see a vintage gas station... turned into a neighborhood restaurant. The food was very delicious and there were new flavors to experience. Wendy waswonderful and will definitely return. If they suggest a cinnamon roll, definitely say ?yes!? Read more

We are from out of state and decided to get dinner here on a whim and boy, am I glad we did. The staff was genuinely friendly... (not that fake friendly you often get), the service was fast, and the food was just top-notch. I got Maybelle?s Brisket and itwas the by far best I?ve ever had. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they?re LGBTQ+ friendly and have non-genderedbathrooms (that?s not something I would have expected to see in North Carolina). Next time we are that way, we are definitelygoing back! Read more
