Delicious local food! Really enjoyed this restaurant for its artful menu and local food sourcing. The cinnamon cranberry... margarita felt slightly ahead of season, but still delicious. Who doesn’t like free bread, too? I liked the outdoor seatingand comfy chairs. Read more

The shrimp and grits dish did not meet my expectations for the price and reputation of this restaurant. 4 shrimp and a cup of... cheddar grits (with added tomato sauce and one sliced mushroom) for $22? We can do much better than this. In fact, the priceused to be $16. Why not provide complementary bread with the dish? Anyway, the flavor was fair; I added salt to improve thetaste. I did enjoy the green beans. Were they prepared with vinegar? Anyway, I would give this restaurant another shot. I didfind the environment to be welcoming. Read more

Whatever you do DO NOT order the short rib and fried egg. Me and my sister n law were so disappointed in it. It was bland and... greasy. The only thing that made it better was the Indian curry i had that same day to mix with it. Also the bread pudding wasgood I could use some extra sauce on the side or some butter pecan ice cream. Also don't get the platter starter with the cheeseit's not worth the price. Read more

Stopped in for a business lunch. Thought the food was good and pricing was acceptable, though I could see some not being... satisfied by the price. I had the shrimp and grits that had very well seasoned shrimp and fully cooked grits, but the sauce wasa little too heavy on the oil or butter. I think most people would be ok with this meal, but it isn't an over-the-top type homerun. Would be OK with eating here again just wouldn't go out of my way. Read more

Harvest 18 in Durham, NC uses local fresh ingredients from farmers around the area! The menu is focused on fresh ingredients... available and is chef-driven by Jason and David. Their southern dishes are so good! The pork shank is roasted for 12 hours andfalls off the bone. Loved their shrimp and grits which has locally caught shrimp. Their wood-fire grilled meatloaf has a housemade red pepper jelly and is one of their most popular dishes! We spoke with Chef David about the dishes and there’s someexciting things coming in the future! Read more

This was a great brunch experience. They seem to care a great bit about the quality of their food and presentation. I'd love to... bring a date here someday for a nice dinner! I had the Grilled chicken with eggs, and cheddar grits. It was very tasty! For adrink I had an Irish coffee essentially and it was very good as well! Read more

Service was great. Seafood pizza was okay. I'd say it would have been better with a creamy sauce rather than pesto. NC style BBQ... plate was tasty. The interior is small and loud. Thankfully, they have outdoor seating. But make sure you take advantage oftheir complimentary bug repellent spray. Otherwise you'll be eaten alive by mosquitoes while you're dining. Read more

Superb food and service. Our first time here. We had the chef's special blackened yellow fin tuna with pimento grits and... zucchini. It was the best. April was our server. She's personable, professional and hard working. Definitely going back. Read more
