I gave them 1 star because I can't go lower. The floors were filthy, several dirty tables, 4 people working, uh standing around.... I sat at a table that needed to be cleaned because it was the only one available that didn't have freezing air blowing down onit. A waitress snapped at me because of my table choice. Four hamburgers sat ready to go to tables but the e tire staff wasjoking around in the stock room. Not one of them smiled or was friendly the entire hour it took us to get served and that waswith only us and another table. Our waitress was so slow and unfriendly and was surprised with a dollar tip. I was a waitressand bartender and they forgot they work for tips. Horrible staff, filthy, unfriendly atmosphere. Now the very same night that I walked block after block to find a place that I could walk inside and the place I found was... familiar to me and is what I should of known to come eat at anyway bc it was cheaper and I walked right inside and sat down toorder food that was exceptional and fresh with great friendly service that already has another group of customers playing somegood music that we all was having a really awesome time listening to and the entire experience was in every way better than theabsolutely dispicable disrespectful and unbelievable treatment I received a few blocks up at the fast food joint that is knownfor roast beef sandwiches but I know them to have treated me like trash and I left to walk into this awesome establishment to betreated like the only customer in the world that matters at that moment was me and I got the best BLT with extra bacon and mayoI have ever put my mouth on and it was good enough to leave a 20 dollar tip for the two workers to split. The cook and waiterwas the only people working at the time. I am grateful for the two younger guys that turned my very disappointing experiencewith the other food chains into one of the best meals I have had in months. Waffle house keep up the exceptional work from themoment I entered the door it was just what I needed to turn a negative into a positive. When I come out to eat, I don't want to hear waitresses complaining, cursing. Not every waitress, but one or two mad apples will... spoil customers' experience. LEAVE YOUR ATTITUDE AT HOME OR IN YOUR MIND AND PROVIDE SERVICE WITH A SMILE!! Food was excellent,but I don't think we will come here any more. Read more

Twice I?ve waited for 15mins at a table without anyone acknowledging me or asking what I want to drink. They are polite when I... walk out and apologize but I?ve watched others walk out in that time too. I don?t think it?s a shortage of staff because I seeseveral just hanging out.
