Well Done means Extra Crispy I should be able to bite Flats and hear a crisp. These are Baked Flats ????. This is very... disappointing and happens quite often. I'll drive all the way to Duke Street (please see the other picture in the daytime)beforeI go here again. (There is women lady in the day who seems to do it right) All the rest take notes: you don't crowd one basketfull of wings, if they are frozen or stuck together pull them up take the tongs and loosen them, bang them on the back of thefryer or something. I?ve Never felt cheated out of money like I feel right now. Here I am starving . Almost ready to cry because I spent 50+ dollars... on wings and they?re all so overcooked and dry. Sadly I?ve worked as a cook in the past so I know what happened. They had thempre cooked already for a long time and then dropped them back a second time to heat them back up. They were great! Nice size wings, great bbq sauce, not salty; I don't know if it was the manager or an employee but he handled... everything so nicely and the people that came in he had great patience with them Especially with it being after 11 o'clock atnight. Ordered 30 (20 Louisiana dry rub 10 Lemon pepper) wings via Doordash and the wings were NOT done and there was no seasoning as... ordered. I ordered "extra crispy" and they may have cooked them for 8-9 mins. The dryrub on the 20 wings looked like crackedpepper in oil and the 10 LP wings were sitting in oil. Totally unacceptable. Wingstop needs better quality control measures forconsistently. Regular wings should cook 12-14 mins and extra crispy 17 min cook time.. IT AINT THAT HARD !!! Listen, I don?t usually post reviews to be negative but this one is absolutely EARNED!! I placed an order online because I... figured it would cut down on the wait. I got to the restaurant and the young man at the front was great. He was doing hisabsolute best to satisfy everyone and make sure all guests were served. HOWEVER the people in the back were slowing HIM down.They weren?t short staffed by any means because about five guys came in at one time. I waited an HOUR for an 8pc combo. Twoother guests came in AFTER me, placed an order, got their food, and I still had not received my food. The manager on dutycouldn?t care any less about how horrible things were going. One thing I will most certainly NOT be doing is returning to theWingstop on Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard. Read more
Call the store on hold for 15 minutes hang up and call back answers the phone and says nothing. Called 12 times. When I arrived... to the store 15 minutes later the lady asks do I have a call in order. I tell her no I tried to call in my order but no onewould take my call. She laughs and then says sorry about that. Now I have to wait another 15 minutes for my food and be late towork. It is small things like this that matter to a customer. Simply explaining that the store is busy and it would be better tocome in and place order would have been a better way to handle it. Now my day is ruined and I don?t really trust the ppl to makemy food after making this review so I wont be back. Normally a good experience but these last times have been terrible. Last oneI order Cajun wings and got Korean smh. Once again not satisfied because I would have had to wait until they fixed my order oras I did just took the order and ate it or got a refund. The very first time I came they had ants in the tea. Apparently Durham didn't need more than one Wingstop because the other two they have opened are trash. We placed an order for... food around 11:20p and arrived at the location to pick it up at 11:40p (you can do this at the one across town without anissue). Upon arrival, there was a lady standing outside. My boyfriend got out of the car and walked up to the door because weassumed she was waiting for the door to get her food. I am not sure why the door was locked at 11:40p when this location closesat 12 AM. It turns out that this was not the case. Someone opened the door (who didn't work there) to let her in and completelyignored my boyfriend who said "I have an online order". The person who didn't work there proceeds to let the lady in and shutthe door in my boyfriend's face. The group of people inside were just standing around talking and ignored my boyfriend until11:55. When he was finally acknowledged by an employee, they tried to tell him that they were closed. He repeated himself saying"I have an online order". Apparently they received the order, took the ticket and put it off to the side somewhere and didn'tbother to make the food. After they realized the issue, they let my boyfriend in at 12 AM while they made the food. All of thatcould have been avoided had someone properly acknowledged him in the first place. It's great that they made the food but arefund should have been issued and still needs to be issued. Not to mention, they still forgot one of the items in the order. Read more
