Fantastic little place I found through John Pearce Park. This is the kind of place I would love to be a regular at and my first... time hearing of dill pickle soup. The people are friendly. I learned they grow all the fruit and many of the ingredients forthe pies. Meat is locally sourced and everything is fresh. And it?s GOOD food. Reasonably priced homecooked food. Pies are top notch. The apple pie and rhubarb custard are my favourites. Stop in for a... slice, or order the day before for whole pies. Very nice family run restaurant with homemade burgers sourced locally. Bewarned though. Owner isn't much of a Leaf fan! Read more
