Loved it. This is a place that knows what it does best. A small but efficient menu with limited choices but a guarantee that... every menu item will be delicious. A surprisingly wide selection of Oysters adds variety for the adventurous. The prices are abit high for the portion sizes, but each item is well balanced and carefully prepared. I have never eaten caviar but there wasan option on the menu to add some caviar to any item for 20 dollars a gram. I passed on that option. The staff was veryprofessional and helpful. The servers knew the products well and provided useful suggestions. They even comped me for a beerthat was 9/10ths full because it was at the end of the keg. I wouldn't have even noticed that if they didn't bring it up. If youhave a group to impress then definitely check it out. 9/10 Read more

It’s hard to put your finger on what’s so great about the Windsor House. The feel is casual, and the menu is both comfort... food and adventurous. Ive never actually ordered an entree — start with some oysters, then one or two other choices from theraw bar, then some small plates, and it’s a meal! It’s fun to order a bunch of things and share with the table. Thecocktails are fun and creative and of course the house itself is classic New England. Overall a fun place for a great mea. Read more

The attention to detail and quality makes this place a good one to trust for oyster freshness. The ability for Winsor House to... farm its own oysters means that they don't have to travel far and they pass through fewer hands. I recommend asking the serverfor oyster recommendations. We went in with a diverse group of people and we all found something that fit our pallets. Thefresh oysters were so wonderful. The desserts were very complimentary. Read more

I am on my first trip to this part of the country and was looking for a local spot for oysters and boy oh boy this did NOT... disappoint! When I arrived, the hostess took me on a tour of the entire space to let me chose my table, I decided on the patioas the weather was stunning today, a beautiful, crisp autumn evening. I shared the space with a vibrant family with 4 adorablelittles. I chose 4 of the different local oysters and the grilled asparagus salad and as I’m a non-drinker tried the BlueberryMint Soda. Everything was incredible and I am always very appreciative when establishments include non-alcoholic options otherthan just juice and sodas. Chandler was an attentive server and made an excellent recommendation for my meal and I was treatedto beautiful Massachusetts hospitality from start to finish. Thank you for making my first meal in Cape Cod an experience Iwon’t soon forget! Read more

The food was pretty good and the ambiance was nice. But the waitress forgot to put in our small plates. We ordered raw oysters... and two small plates shortly after sitting down. The oysters came on time but the small plates came 40 minutes later, just lessthan 5 minutes before our meal. We had given up on them and were just going to ask for them to come off the bill but shemust’ve remembered when she put in our main course. Also, the menu is quite limited, but when we showed up there was even lessthan was shown online. Plus, the $75 olive oil cake with caviar is excessively unnecessary… so eh, overall there’s lots ofbeautiful seafood places to eat around here so I’m not sure if I’d risk it again. Read more

The food, staff, and vibes are excellent! Every dish is perfectly balanced and it surprises your palate. The Crudo tasting is... delicate and it is the best way to start your meal. The chocolate cake with cheese frosting is the sweetest way to end up yournight. Cool drink/wine list! The staff is young, fresh, polite, kind, and super welcoming. Read more

My wife and I ate dinner here for the first time and it was delightful. The ambience is cozy and feels like a restaurant... you’ve been going to since you were a kid. The staff were kind and attentive and after having an unfortunate chowder spill onmy phone and wallet, they put our whole bill on the house. The manager came out and met with us personally to apologize and evenoffered to pay for a cleaning service for the wallet in addition to comping our bill. It was incredibly kind and we willdefinitely be back to this awesome place! Food service and ambience were a 10/10! Read more
