Got a dinner on a late Monday afternoon. They advertised free slice of pie with meal, and I had a mailed 20% discount card,... which is why I came. Good service & food. BUT bill charged for pie. Cashier said she would remove pie charge, then took andsupposedly scanned my discount card. Not questioning results, I paid & left. At home I realized they had WAY overcharged me.This has happened before. My overall experience with Perkins: food value = POOR. Read more
Food was good and service was fast. My negative takeaway - my som asked a clarifying question about the kids menu because it has... a ?hungry? and ?really hungry? section side-by-side and no ?either/or? in the middle so he thought he could get both/and (he washungry). When he tried to ask the server about it he was cut-off and told, ?No we don?t serve free food.? He was upset, but Iassured him he was not wrong to ask. We discussed maybe it had been a long day for the server and that we should show some graceas it was only one thing (not a repeat), and we worked together to put a smile on the server?s face before we left and the gracewas reciprocated. I've always enjoyed Perkins in several towns. But, this location exceeds my expectations. The service is quick, very friendly ,... and nicely attentive. My food has always been well prepared. It's a definite stop for me when I'm in the area. Read more
Great food and great service. Danielle was a wonderful server and made sure I had everything I needed. When I said the coffee... wasn't hot, she apologized and brought me a new pot and cup right away! She should get a raise for excellent customer service. Read more
Went to Perkins for some breakfast in-between ballgames this morning and the food and the service was absolutely horrible. The... biscuits and gravy were hard and tasted liked only flour. No meat in it whatsoever. The waitress not once came back to check onus and ask how the meal was. We didn't eat but one bite. When they asked at the counter how things were it wasn't even offeredto remove from the uneaten items off my bill. I am assuming the manager was the one sweeping the floor up and she also didn'task how things were with 3 uneaten plates of food sitting there. Very unprofessional of all involved. We won't be back. My cousin and I met at this Perkins location for an early lunch at about 1045am on a Wednesday . It was nice busy and were... seated promptly. We were provided water and coffee right away. Creamers are on the table. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a muffin. I was quite satisfied. My cousin ordered a waffle with potatoes. Overall great experience. I'm not much of a review guy but I'm writing this from the toilet I've been stuck on since I left so I had the time. Went for a... quick dinner. Always had great experiences with Perkins. Place was dead at 4pm on a Sunday (3 active tables maybe? 4 or so carsin the whole lot). Took us nearly 40 minutes to get our food. Not the way we ordered it, tasted just good enough I was willingto eat it and has created a huge digestive issue. Prior to Perkins I felt fantastic. Thank God for COD mobile. Waiter was verynice, probably wasn't his fault. Absolutely never returning to that Perkins. Hope it gets sorted out. Read more
