Food isn't bad at all and the vibe is pretty cool, calm, relaxing. I prefer their breakfast over everything else they have.... Their bacon could be better.... Thick bacon is the best. Its good, not great..... I wouldn't go out my way to come back. Read more
I visited here on 8-28-2022 My server was Alex he was super nice and attentive he was also super nice and helpful he's a very... polite guy and I wanted the owners to know I go out to eat a lot and honestly he's one of the top servers I've had he does avery good job. Also the food was great me and my friend who went here enjoyed the food and the quality service. Also the placesis clean the bathrooms are clean also so if your in the area would recommend checking this place out! Read more
We randomly stopped into this little tavern after an afternoon of shopping and we were so pleasantly surprised! The food was... delicious...those steak fries were unique...like very thick-cut potato chips and my fish was excellent and super flaky. Thechicken sandwich was good too, and we even won a prize from the meat raffle! Read more
Lunch, had the chicken strips. Wow, they were awesome. Highly recommend them and the special sauce (bang bang sauce I think). It... was more then I could eat. Also homemade chips! So good! Waitresses were very friendly and fast service. Would definitely goagain. Read more
Showed up 35 minutes until 2am. I get it we were late but the Bartender said he will not be able to serve us. We just wanted one... and go. He had people come up left and right. I understand he is busy. My partner and I have been in the industry for 8+ years,we understand. But helping people coming in from outside who have been drinking who are drunk vs helping someone who just showedup, for one is not great customer service. We got passed over a few times before he even said that to us. Place wasn?t thatbusy. He clearly needed help and if he was alone that is not ideal. I get things happen but the way he reacted to new guests isnot the greatest. Did not feel like a welcoming place or somewhere I would like to go again. Read more

'Old world Eagan' haunt, from before the suburbanites descended with their snap-together malls and dime-a-dozen fusion bistro... cashcows? A place where actual locals hang out. Fried food, domestic beers, 80s and 90s music, fish & chips. Clean and friendly,with a reasonably sizable deck in the back for outside dining (12 tops, maybe?) The food was par, and not spectacular. I WILLcome back to Yankee Tavern for drinks and appetizers and its comfortable atmosphere, (the low-lit cozy lamps in the booths arenice) but not for its unspectacular entrees. ???? Read more
Stopped by for the first yesterday for a later lunch with my mom. We both ordered the soup and 1/2 salad combo. The loaded... potato soup was delicious and the Cobb salad was amazing! Will definitely be back!! Prompt and friendly service too! Read more
