I got the short rib bolognese and it was DIVINE!! Meat was cooked to perfection. Everything was well seasoned. The peaches and... goat cheese was so good, as were the pesto balls. Nice little place to eat. Really enjoyed the vibe and the customer service. The food was good, absolutely nothing to say... negative. Just didn't hit the way I wanted it to. One of our favorite restaurants in the Boise area! Great service, fantastic wine list, the food is yummy, and a great patio.... They also have my all time favorite dessert, the chocolate pistachio gelato cake. Read more
Lunch time was a good time to go in. Hungry and in the neighborhood, we decided to see what this Caci’ was all about.... Hostess/Server was delightful. The octopus was great! My husband’s gnocchi was awesome at first bite. Thereafter, it was slowto eat and impossible to finish because of the richness of the dish. We enjoyed our experience all in all. I recommend it. I was so excited to try this place out. We came in on a Sunday and decided to sit at the bar top. There was a decent crowd... inside and it was an overall fun ambiance. We ordered 2 signature cocktails and their fried risotto balls. The cocktails weregreat, the risotto balls left a lot to be desired. They lacked flavor and had a back of freezer taste. Their only redeemingquality, the marinara sauce they came on. By the time dinner came out, my husband received his Ciopinno first and we immediatelystarted to pick only to find that the seafood was way too fishy. My husband who orders Ciopinno often immediately said the fishwas old. The focaccia was stale, past the point of crusty bread that is ideal for a classic Ciopinno. We immediately sent itback and ordered Flank Steak Waygu. My Caramelle (ravioli stuffed with ricotta) was delicious, however it was just lukewarm. Idid add steak to my meal and it was also tough and overcooked. Once my husband steak came out, it was also cooked way beyondmedium and he said it was beefy. Another indication Caci’s food is anything but fresh. We took our leftovers home in hopes todoctor up our meals but it’s definitely not worth the try. Service was great, or so we thought, only to find out we werecharged for the Ciopinno AND the steak. They did take half off the steak but I would much rather the Ciopinno to be taken offand to be charged full price for the steak. Once I was able to clear that up with the manager, he completely agreed andapologized for the inconvenience and said he would correct the error. It was a bit confusing considering the bartender said itwas the manager’s decision to keep both meals on our ticket in the first place. We skipped out on dessert which is usually amust for us. Overall, I would not come back, there are far better places out there to get a steak and pasta fix. Read more
Will definitely go back. Food was good, the Arancini tasted good but was a little overdone in the fryer. The pizza was unique... and tasty, but just a matter of preference for me - I'll go with a more typical pizza next time because their Nonna sauce isamazing! Look forward to trying more things here and enjoying the beautiful outdoor seating when the weather warms up! Read more
No complaints at all, but be prepared to spend good money for fantastic food. Fell in love with their grilled octopus ???? after... the first bite ????????. Pretty good! I got the gnocchi which was tasty but VERY heavy and rich... really could use something fresh to brighten it up a... little and it'd be perfect. Pizzas were good sized Drinks were tasty but seemed like there was barely any alcohol in them forthe price.. our server Stephanie was great! Love that you could see the wood fired grill, too!
