Good for a quick bite, this place probably isn't as healthy as you might be led to believe, but then it is a fast food joint.... The way I see it, all the food on their menu is the same, it just takes on different shapes, but the salads and burritos theyoffer are basically the exact same ingredients, so don't be fooled by thinking your being healthy by getting a salad. That said,I do really enjoy the food here when I just want to get something quick. The staff are usually pretty friendly and it's notoften super busy, at least at the times I've gone in. Good place for the family, plenty of seating and a good amount of food for the price. Enjoyed the quesadilla and the nachos. The... food is pretty good, but since you choose what to add to your plate it takes a minute and need to learn what goes best together.Staff was friendly and worked hard. We will be back again. Cafe Rio is one of those semi fast food restaurants. They are similar to blaze pizza or Chipotle where you tell them what you... want and which ingredients you want on your meal. I got a grilled chicken burrito with enchilada sauce smothering it. Parking:the parking lot is the right size for the restaurant with some parking for curbside if they bring it back. Food: the food wasgood and flavorful. The Chicken was dry but had a good flavor. The pico added a bright clean flavor to the rest. It's starting to make sense why the lines at this Eagle location are half of any other Cafe Rio spot. We've now been to this... Eagle location 3 times and this time was the final straw. We'll never go back. Excruciatingly slow line, employees who seemdazed and confused (I get the labor shortage), but worst of all is the food quality. In Utah, Cafe Rio's HQ, freshness is king,and I could not believe how disgusting the food looked at the Eagle location today. The lettuce was so brown and slimy thatpeople in line ahead of us had to ask them to dump it out, which they did reluctantly. The rice tasted like someone dumped acup or two of salt in and we didn't experience any of this until we were already home with our to go order. I heard theirVancouver, WA location just shut down. Holy cow I just found the worst Cafe Rio on the planet! They were out of several meat options (all they had were shredded... chicken, pork, and grilled chicken)! so I got the grilled chicken and it is so dry/old/overcooked that I can?t even eat it! It?s5:00 on a Sunday! I asked for some chips and queso. Nope all out of queso. Took my food back up and asked for some FRESHgrilled chicken and of course they won?t have any for the foreseeable future. Asked when the queso will be available. ?uh?wemight be making some later?. Had them remake my food with what was left of the pork and that too had obviously sat there allday. I won?t be back! Read more
