Great butcher shop with delicious sandwiches. Wife and I had the roast beef horseradish, which was delicious, and the bbq... brisket (added cheese) which was great. The food was just ok. We got the Kansas and a tri-tip sandwich. The Brisket was thinly sliced which was great, but the BBQ sauce... was a little over powering for the overall taste. The tri-trip sandwich was ok, but not the best cuts of the meat. The potatosalad was nice and light, which is rare, but good. They have meat to take which is a nice addition and something for later. Where to start!? I've lived in big cities on the East Coast with old-school, highly rated butcher shops/delis and Porterhouse... not only competes, but probably out classes most of them! Bought lunch a few weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it. Themeats and seafood are as amazing as they look, but the takeout food makes them the best lunch spot in town too. Read more
I just went there today and I spent $30 on two sandwiches and even though I mention twice they put it on the wrong bread. Last... week I went there to get a sub sandwich and there?s almost no meat on it so I had to go home and add my own. Normally I?ve beenhappy but their value has been greatly diminished as of late.
