Food and service was very good! Best Mexican food I've had in Alaska. Wife and I enjoyed it

They served my son already a picky eater a burger that was raw. The Mexican food the rest of the family ordered was horrible,... the rice and beans dry as hell like they had been under a heat lamp for 12 hours, everything else hidden under burnt cheese. Ohand to top it off they had some old man singing cover songs (not well) so loud you couldn?t speak to the person sitting acrossfrom you. Worst dinner experience ever! We will not go back! Garcia's was always a family favorite growing up for both myself and my boyfriend's families. It made for the perfect date night... for us and we both loved that the food was just as good as we remembered it being when we were kids. It was nice to have a datenight in a place where we both had really good memories. I'm looking forward to bringing our kids there one day and adding tothose memories on the other end. They?re chips and salsa are the best! They always reheat in the air fryer just as good as fresh. My wife and I had lunch today... and the food was great! The service was also great as usual! They have a very convenient lunch menu too. Read more

Amazing place, super friendly staff, very attentive to refilling water and whatever we needed. We split a dinner and still had a... to go box. They have no problem with ordering one meal and splitting it. We love it for a date. Retired and enjoying life atGarcia's! Read more
