We had 6:30 reservations last night, but wanted to eat outside. The bartender was attentive. Once seated, we placed our... appetizer order. Shannon was our server, also the GM. She was attentive, friendly and extremely apologetic for the delay. Highlyrecommend! We will be back next time we?re up north. Read more
Enjoyed a great meal but even more impressive was the staff! They had 2 large groups (20 +) seated just before we arrived, so... we had a bit of a wait, but despite how busy the staff was, they kept checking in with us and were apologetic for our wait. What a perfect place for dinner. Had the Portabello balsamic vinegar appetizer. Pulled Pork sandwich, Braised Beef and blueberry... cheesecake for dessert. Hubby had one of the famous Moscow mules. Everything was delicious. Read more
What?!? This place is amazing. Sunday brunch surprised us, staff is super friendly and Chef Tanner came out to make sure we were... thoroughly satisfied, and we were. Tasted the (not on the brunch) fresh lobster bisque and unbelievably tender baby whole friedclams that were simply divine. Sunday brunch includes French toast, prime rib, lox, two egg dishes, build your own yogurt,sausage, ham and more. Check their hours and try it out! Read more
My family comes to Eagle River quite often and I will say this is probably the best experience we have had. My rack of lamb, my... wife's ribeye, our shrimp and calamari and everything in between was absolutely phenomenal. But even beyond that, the customerservice was exceptional and beyond what we expected. Would recommend literally to everyone! Read more
Last minute stop rolling thru town - and glad we did! We made reservations via OpenTable as it was a Friday night and most... places had a wait. We were able to get in. Young gentleman waiting on us was new, which he said up front, but he put his bestfoot forward to find all the answers to our questions. Kudos to a young man working to keep our country open! Food wasspectacular! Mahi Mahi on risotto with a cream sauce & asparagus was one dish and braised beef with mashed parsnips & asparagus- highly recommend! And of course, Southern Comfort Old Fashioned Sweet. There was a wedding rehearsal dinner, and 2 largetables of 8+ & we did not see that effect on our service or food! Kudos to the kitchen, and bar staff! There was another groupof 8+ that came after us and they expedited their efforts to get them seated promotly! Just experienced a nice evening out for Dinner at Blue Heron. Service and atmosphere was very nice. Steaks were good, but could... have been a little larger. Whiskey Shrimp had only 6 Small Shrimp and was a little fishy tasting. Bread basket was good,but missing from our meals was Soup / and / or Salad ??? This was very odd, for a Wisconsin Supper Club not to include oroffer. Also missing was the traditional relish tray, you expect at a Supper Club. Overall experience was good, But the ownersneed to sharpen the details of the Supper Club experience expected in Northern Wisconsin. Read more
