Chef Rene is a wizard with veal. The Veal Forester was absolutely marvelous, and my wife had the Salmon Quinoa which was equally... amazing. Wonderful setting for a very nice meal in the northwoods, and the staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive. ChefRene's father was also wandering around the restaurant and added a wonderful touch of humorous friendliness. Chef Rene's continues to provide consistent food quality, year after year - this is our 10th year dining with them. The... Scallops Pernod, Ribeye and Fiddlehead ferns were all outstanding. Food was good but not great. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Parking is abundant. Right off highway. Very clean. Prices... are a little stiff for what you get.
