Had an early dinner with the family here. Our server Karla was the best we have had in years anywhere. Prompt, helpful,... attentive, knows the menu well and made great suggestions, and she was funny - "what service used to be like before COVID" quotefrom my husband. Drinks came quickly and Karla was mindful of when we needed more. Food was made with flavorful spicing andpairings that were sophisticated, fulfilling. Delish food, large portions, very nice employees... but no reservations excepted. We had a large group of 25 arrived 4:45 pm... on a Wednesday. Our wait was 1.5 hrs+ even tho we had agreed to split up. Ended up all at one large table, service was quickand food delivered almost together and fast. On a smaller scale it would be even better. On our up North trip, we visited the Kickback grill twice. The wheat beers from Tribute we're excellent, my wife enjoying both... the mango and blueberry. I tuna was garnished with a neat flavor combo that I really enjoyed. It was spicy. I had the Reubenthe next time, and it was really excellent. The beef was very flavorful, three slices of rye weren't too powerful, and thekraut was just sweet enough. Great job! Read more
We were very disappointed at this visit. Our haystack onions were cold, my tuna didn't taste fresh. It actually tasted fishy.... I've had it almost every time we go. Our old fashioned had way too much bitters for a Brandy old fashion sweet. We asked thebartender for a side of sweet soda told her it was too bitter. She never asked to make it fresh. Ate here 3 times in 2 days because the food was so good and so varied. Beautiful lake views. Friendly staff. Creative Food. Can... add multiple protein choices chicken. Shrimp or salmon to great salads. Loved the spinach salad. Tasty cauliflower crust pizzawhich is misnamed as pizza fries, much better. Read more
Phenomenal wait staff, water glasses were always full. Our waitress was very attentive to our table constantly coming back to... ask questions and to check up on us, she knew the drink menu very well too. Our appetizers seemed to arrive immediately afterordering them.. & our dinner came out relatively quickly as well! We even got dessert because we enjoyed the experience &atmosphere so much. Excellent food and service. Cook prepared food spot on. Waitress very attentive and friendly. Owner on site and very involved. 5... star experience all the way around. If in the area you should go. If you aren't, take the drive, you will not be disappointed. Read more
