I've been wanting to try this place out for awhile now, but it's always so busy and usually has a line. It was a cool autumn... Saturday night when my wife and I decided to take the plunge and put our names on the list. Surprisingly, five minutes later Ireceived a text saying our table was ready. It was close to a cozy fire pit, our drinks came quickly and our food was not toofar behind. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good and the atmosphere complemented the evening really well. Ihad a plate of brisket and my wife had rib tips and deviled eggs. We are looking forward to going back. Read more
Very pleasant dining experience out on the patio, with wonderfully warm fires. Eating outside in December felt amazing! Food... was delicious, pork was tender and moist, sides were flavorful, nice choice of different barbecue sauces. We love sweet barbequesauces. My son really enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. We enjoyed a family meal after watching the St. Charles ChristmasTraditions Parade down the old main street. We got seated quickly but the patio area filled up quickly and soon there was a lineof people waiting to be seated. Read more
What a wonderful place to experience Missouri BBQ! We do things a little different over in Oklahoma, so I can't say I touched... any of the sauces, but they looked well liked by others who prefer it! I only removed a star because the brisket was very, verydry - but the ribs and everything else on my plate was cleaned off. The Mac & Cheese breading was incredible, the pulloverunique, and my friend loved the chicken wings she ordered. Highly recommend with the suggestion of trying a different meat! Read more

I was recommended this place by a friend while visiting from out of town. I rarely have at at BBQ spots because I?m a... pescatarian and they almost never have seafood options. Salt and Smoke did not disappoint with their smoked salmon. I got thesmoked salmon sandwich with Mac and cheese. I also got a small kale salad with smoked salmon added. The portions are large. Itwas an insane value for the cost. Service was also phenomenal. I came solo on my way to the airport with very little time tospace. In less than 30 minutes, I was seated, served, had a cocktail, ate some food, and took the rest to go. My server Kayleighwas amazing. It was peak time when I dined here but she had a great sense of urgency and was super attentive.Highly recommend. Read more
Located in a beautiful town. Food was well presented. Chicken and Brisket we very moist. Ribs were a bit dry. I had the... creamed corn and potato salad as sides. Loved the popover!! While I was disappointed that the check was brought to me withoutinquiring if I wanted dessert, I am happy to have explored a little and located the Riverside Sweet shop-- a chocolate lover'sdream location. Excellent BBQ, ambiance and service. Great selection of side dishes and spirits. Food was delivered quickly but well prepared.... Located on Main Street in St. Charles which is like going back in time to old time America. Walking around the area is a greatway to stretch the legs and burn off those calories. Read more
Delicious BBQ and an excellent whiskey selection. Great ambiance inside and on the warmer days their patio is awesome. The staff... was super friendly and attentive. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area. Highly recommend the brisket burnt ends and theribs. Read more
