Home of das boot! I didn?t actually get it but wished someone did. Loved the energy of the staff and all the decor. Seating... inside and outside. This place is great for families or just a night out with friends. The customers at the bar were having agreat time with the jukebox. Don?t know if it?s actually called that anymore. Machine that plays music is best way to describeit. The food was amazing. This was only my second time at a German restaurant. First time I made the mistake of getting a giantarray of sausage. I was smart enough this time to not eat too heavy. I went with das schnitzel sandwich. I was recentlyintroduced to fried pork cutlets. On a pretzel bread seems like a no-brainer. I turned out to be right. Fried perfectly, tons offlavor. Their french fries for a nice bonus. Very crispy and delicious. I was also able to sample some of my wife?s plate ofjagerschnitzel. It was basically what I got, but with a delicious mushroom gravy sauce. It also came with a side of spatzle.Great experience. Can?t wait to go visit the in-laws and come back here. Five stars! Had Date-Night here, on 7/1/22. Live locally, but never gone, because thought it was a bar with food. Oh, was I wrong! The food... was FABULOUS! Service was great! Loved our waitress & her personality. Here is what we had: Pork Shank, potato pancakes,schnitzel with bacon/mushroom gravy, Sauerbraten?.. ???? YUMMY! This was a random gem we stumbled upon. Described as ?sneakily delicious? by my boyfriend i had to post a review. Which i never... really do, The Bavarian Nachos we ordered for starters didn?t make it to the photos, THATS how good it was. When ordering thesalad you?re preparing for being underwhelmed but i was so happy with what i got, the salad was perfectly abundant with all thelisted ingredients and the homemade dressing was excellent. I?m impressed already but then my bf gets Das schnitzel sandwichwith Munster and bacon, EXCELLENT, with the delicious garlic lemon mayo. This place smelled really weird, like a public pool bathroom. But once you got over that, the beer and pretzels are very good. ... Not a lot of healthy choices, but good for an indulgence. Definitely not bar food! This is top restaurant quality flavor and care. I asked for recommendations and I got them. The... schweinshaxe is to die for! I dont normally go for pork but this is a must have. The onion soup is a lovely take on the regularmozzarella you'll find in other places. (Tastes better too). And apfelstrudel? I hope you brought a friend because it's enoughfor two. Hefeweisen was crisp, service on a Sunday afternoon was great! Remember it's a bar, so if the game is on, the fans arethere.
