I've left less than stellar reviews for 308 previously, so I'm gonna give credit when credit is due. I had lunch today on the... deck. Service was fast, pleasant & attentive. My grilled shrimp salad was top notch! Fresh delicious greens, fabulousflavorfilled grilled shrimp & excellent balsamic dressing. My friend got the Lakeside salad & she loved it as well. Read more
Well first off- the view from the outside seating is beautiful! And the food is not terribly expensive and delicious! There was... a good variety on the menu and many things I wanted to try but I went with the fried salmon taco special- which I absolutelyloved! Great food. EXTREMELY reasonable price. My wife got baked stuff shrimp and loved it. She doesn't normally like broccoli much... but the seasoning was perfect. I got the meatloaf. Fries were great. Wings were also great - I believe they were parmesan garlic- so good. And again - SO reasonably price. Not a ton of parking, but plenty on the street. Read more
Someone recently suggested my husband and I try this place for our 8th wedding anniversary and I must say it did not... disappoint! We were seated by the window in the quieter part of the restaurant over looking the lake. Gayle, our waitress wasamazing, attentive, and funny. I (the picky eater) was able to tweak the food that I ordered to my desired perfection! SideSalad had fresh greens, not iceberg lettuce. I had them hold the tomatoes and onions and add extra cucumbers (which were veryfresh and fat!). My husband and I split potato skins and I have to say they are the best potato skins I've ever had! It was like2 potatoes split in half, not scooped out, very soft inside, skin not over cooked and easy to cut with a knife, perfect!!!! Iordered the Winter Solstice drink (which is more like a summer solstice but whatevs haha) and ended up needing a second it wasso sweet with just the right amount of kick! Needless to say this light weight didn't drive home but rode home haha My husbandgot the baked trio of scallops, haddock, and shrimp with double mashed. I tasted some of his meal and the potatoes were so mouthwatering! They tasted fresh out of the garden! I got the shrimp scampi special (no tomatoes) and only was able to eat about 1/3of it, and took the rest home! Soooooo goooooood! Deserts were to die for! I had the Limoncello cake (mouth wateringly good) andmy husband got the Turtle Cheesecake (also great flavor but I'm not a nut person haha). We enjoyed a nice quiet evening togetherwatching boats and birds. I definitely would recommend this place and we will definitely be back! Read more
The times I have dined at this restaurant have all been a great experience. The service is always friendly and accommodating.... The times I’ve went there really hasn’t been a large waiting time which is very nice. Nice relaxing atmosphere in the diningroom overlooking the lake Lashway. They do a great job with the scallops and oysters. Read more
Good atmosphere. Good food and fair prices. Pleasant staff. A little bit of a wait as they were very busy.
Lakeside is a restaurant situated exactly near a lake. There is a small parking outside. We were not lucky to be seated outside... to catch the views, so instead we had to stay inside. The waiters are nice and polite. The food is good. The only one and thebiggest issue - are FLIES! They were everywhere. Instead of enjoying the meal, all you have to do is monitor if there are noflies in your plates. If they are not on the table, they are crawling on your legs. Seriously, I barely remember anything aboutrestaurant, all my focus was only on flies. One of my kids is terrified about every flying insect, he was in a continuousstress. Have no idea if outside is the same problem, but owners have to do something about it. I know it won't look fancy, butsticky fly catchers would be a solution. Read more
