We eat at all the Panara restaurants while traveling where available. This one is the east Brunswick mall location. It... definitely needs a good cleaning and overhaul...the years show on this location...but beyond it being down right dirty..the foodis unlike any Panara we dine at. The portions are small the sandwiches your lucky to get the filling on one side only enoughmeat for a quarter of the bread...so they spread it out paper thin to cover the bread. If your salad or sandwich calls fortopping good luck..when I questioned why my Fuji salad didn't have any Dryed Fuji apples on it I was told oh we ran out a coupledays ago and didn't get them in yet !! TERRIBLE WITH ONLINE ORDERS!!! ORDER# 803484377: I work at a small office and we get free lunches from a sales rep. We decided... it was a soup day so we all ordered from Panera. Let me tell you, they forgot 3 of the same soup - tried calling MULTIPLE timesbut our calls would get dropped, no one picks up the phone (not even the manager line). Friendly customer service. Their sip and save membership seems worth it especially if you live or work near a Panera. Also,... their pecan braid is delicious. I suggested to leave the sugar syrup outside for customer access, and they did so within aweek. Love them! Changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. Read more
Been going to this panera pretty often lately bc it?s the closest one. Been pretty ok mostly, the quality of food is not... consistent though. I guess it depends on who?s making the sandwich. Today?s sandwich was literally slab together, but what isdisturbing is that I found a long hair in my Tuna sandwich!!! Not OK! Read more
Fast service! After a few hours at the mall this is a great place to grab a meal with friends. Even though the sandwich was... small the soup with 2 entrees was filling. Not too crowded and many different choices. Read more
First time eating at Panera. Covid is causing production problems. 1. Eating in you still get your order bagged so it wastes... resources and you don't know what's missing until later. 2. Caesar salad is very poor value! Just had a few crumbs of cheese atbottom of plastic container. 3. Ten vegetables soup is yummy. 4. Got nice apple for side dish! Game for you... Paneras quality has declined significantly, and I will no longer eat here again. I got the mediteranean bowl that I used to love... and is now half the size, had only 4 strands of wilted arugula and it was mostly rice, a ton of unriped tomatoes that tastedlike nothing, and a couple of pieces of chicken that tasted like garbage. I had a few bites and had to throw it out. The chickenbrocolli soup tasted like microwaved canned soup. I've been living in the south for a couple years now with no access to panera,and I was excited to eat there again today because I'm back in NJ. I regret to say that I am very dissapointed and have noreason to return to panera. I just wasted money today and my stomach hurts from the disgusting "food." Read more
