Never been here before and never will go back again I don't know if is normal the flavorless of this Chiken but don't like it..
Food was very disappointing. Did not taste at all like we remembered. Feel it was a waste of money. Didn't not feel well after... eating, don't know if the food was to greasy. Husband wasted $50 on dinner going to throw away more then half of it. Will not begoing back. Read more
I've been going to Brown's Chicken around Chicago for over 4 decades. Great food and the taste brings back fond memories. ... Sadly prices keep going up, and the cashier at this location explaining that a 4 dollar upcharge for cheese on top of a pastabowl that's the same size as a side will make it "a meal" seems unjustified. I hope the location figures out how to balancethings, because it is a nice option to have locally. Read more
i ordered cajun rice and 2 combo sandwiches to go. rice smelled awful like it was spoiled, but i thought maybe it was just the... seasoning. nope, it was spoiled and i had to throw it out. the sandwiches were edible but was really dry and barely any flavor.i dont ever write any review, but serving me spoiled food was the breaking point. The two stars is strictly for the delicious biscuits! The chicken was very oily, overly cooked, the Mac n cheese tasted like... dollar tree noodles with melted off brand cheese, French fries were okay. We bought a family pack ($37) yesterday for dinner. The chicken was not edible. It tasted like it was fried a second time. ... The skin was so tough, we ended up throwing out 8 pieces of chicken. (My ticket number was 22594). I would not recommendbuying chicken from this Brown?s. Read more
Chicken was flavorful not oily or bland. Coleslaw and mash good as well the gravy too but can understand that some people might... find it a bit salty. Fritters were made fresh, can have more of a corn taste but were delicious with a slight sweetness. Now thebiscuits seemed oily and somewhat flavorless. I picked up an order of chicken and mac & cheese on Dec 5th, 2022 from here. Unfortunately have to say this was the absolutely... WORST product quality and product flavor meal I have ever purchased. First allow me to say the service personnel were theabsolute best. Extremely friendly and helpful and that itself was a wonderful experience. It ended there however afterreturning home and trying the meal. The chicken was simply put dried out - had been in the heat lamp WAY too long. Looked goodon the outside but pealing off the breading you can visually see the chicken meat itself was dried up and darkened. Not thefirst time I've had that and could have been OK to some degree but the larger issue was the entire breading and flavoring wascompletely WITHOUT any flavor whatsoever. At most it simply tasted like the grease it was fried in. No spices, no salt, noflavoring of any kind like it was colored flower and that's it. Very strange and very, very bad. It didn't stop there. Themac and cheese was equally without any flavor or appeal. It's mac and cheese we're talking about here and it should at leasttaste like cheese but it didn't. Like eating plain pasta with no sauce.
