Honestly disappointed with this place. Service took forever and the some staff need training, they need to understand they work... in a restaurant not at Wendy's. Food presentation and taste was awful, terrible. I will NEVER come back again, nice decorationthats all. This place is Expensive with mediocre food. Ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni and half sausage for pick up. Noticed I was charged full topping price for each... topping although I ordered each only on half. Manager walked by and I asked if she could correct. She stated ?everything isportioned out?. As she hustled off I wondered did that mean I would get double toppings on each side. When I got my pizza I had7 pepperoni an 6 sausage - obviously not the doubled portioned I hoped for. Told the young lady who brought out the pizza Icould not believe I was charged $7 for those toppings. If I didn?t have 4 others waiting at home I wound have told them tokeep it. In my opinion zero customer care. I?ll take my business elsewhere going forward. Hope their ?portioning? is keepingthem happy while driving away customers. Read more
We visited Charlie's Italian Restaurant as it was an option for us for a caterer for our wedding. Very nice atmosphere- We loved... how quiet it was inside even though almost every table was full! Good size portions. Lobster bisque was great as well as theChicken Marsala & Chicken Parmesan! We tried the mint ice cream cookie & sea salt caramel brownie for dessert! We are definitelychoosing them to cater our wedding! Can't wait to go back! Read more
We've ordered pizza for takeout twice and both times it was delicious! The second time I tried calling for approximately 30... minutes (always getting a busy signal) before we decided to go to the restaurant, place our order, and enjoy a glass of wine inthe bar while we waited. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was not packed but still rather busy. Thepatrons ranged from young adults all the way to retirees; there were even a couple of young families. I would say that this is avery popular place with the locals. All of the food being delivered looked and smelled fabulous! No one looked disappointed withtheir selection. The bartender was chatty and entertaining, always a plus. I took away one star because we really wanted theorder to be ready when we went there but it's hard to place an order ahead of time when the phone lines are busy and they don'toffer online ordering. This little snag in our plans added an additional 40 minutes to our arrival time to our friends housewhich was not ideal since we were providing the food. No worries, we will be back! Read more
We arrived just before 6pm, on a Thursday, and were seated right away. It was a nice atmosphere and the service was good. My... wife ordered baked shells and I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. The food arrived quickly and tasted good. We also had acouple of margaritas which were tasty. The only reason that I didn?t give this five stars was that the drinks took longer toarrive than what would normally be expected. Our second drink took about 12 minutes to arrive. Very bad experience last night at Charlie?s. The service was very slow, and it took forever to be seated when the dining area... had plenty of tables. After ordering it took over an hour to receive our meals. I ordered mahi mahi and they were out so theygave me salmon. Paying 23$ this is what my portion size was. Definitely very little and not worth the money. I will never beback. Side note- I feel like they were not running the air because I noticed a lot of people sweaty. Read more
The restaurant is set up high off the main road so be observant for it. The atmosphere was nice with the proverbial Italian... feel. Our booth was clean and well maintained. We were greeted pleasantly and the waitress quickly attended us. I orderedbaked manicotti and a small pizza for my son along with baked potato-skins as an appetizer. My manicotti was typical andaverage tasting. They were smaller then expected for the expense. The pizza was a normal Italian version of pizza and goodenough for my son. It took nearly 30-minutes for these two simple plates to arrive, thankfully we had the potato-skins to holdus off and a roll of bread. I love pasta and Italian meals, so this would have been a better review if the timelines of ourorders was better and a bit more filling for the $$. Read more
