We stayed 2 times in a 11 day span" 1st time was fine. Than we had to check out since they only letyou reserve for 5 days at a... time. We checked back in 2 days later, and we were placed on the 3rd floor, with no tub to bathe our toddler. We tried to makedue but he freaked out in the shower so we had to go 4 days without bathing our toddler Stressful experience and rather justspend the extra money to stay somewhere that allows longer stays and with us knowing what we are paying for. We drove up from Georgia to meet our grandson who was born on August 11th. I searched the area around Schwenksville and I really... didn't want to stay at a chain hotel and I came upon the Globe Inn in East Greenville. I read a lot of the reviews and peopleloved it. I am so so glad that I chose there to stay for 4 nights and 5 days. You have to get up early for breakfast but it isso worth it. The chef made you a hot breakfast. You can choose eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, bagel, stuffed french toast andthere were a few other things that she could cook. If you didn't want that they had other things to choose from. We stayed inthe Ontario Room. Pretty neat! They decorated with a bunch of outdoorsy items and they had a jacuzzi!! We loved it and we'll beback!! Read more

I arrived late so I wasn't able to meet anyone at reception, but my key and necessary documents were left safely for me. It is... difficult to access this incredibly fascinating building if you are lugging your stuff up to the second floor in the rain... Butif I had arrived on time this would not have been a problem. For a shockingly affordable price, you will be treated to anincredibly adorable and perfect room with a refrigerator and a microwave, a spa tub! In addition to regular bathroom facilities,and the generally expected television, etc. The decor here is just perfect. The bed is comfortable. The room is remarkably andpleasantly clean. There is a fireplace, but I am making use of the air conditioner. Breakfast was a lovely affair. Continentalis available for those who would prefer coffee and a bagel, but a small, hot, made to order menu is available. I was notexpecting this! The staff were friendly and did not seem to mind my incessant questions about the history of this beautifulspace. A great night. We spent 2 nights at the Globe Inn. Our room, the Orient Express was very nice, furnished very nicely and very quiet. Loved the... jacuzzi jetted tub. The breakfast in the morning was very delicious. If we get back to East Greenville, Pa. We willdefinitely will stay again. Thank you. Read more
From the time Mike showed us our room my girlfriend had a smile a mile wide. We stayed in the Orient Express room. It was on the... first floor right next to the entrance, very convenient. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. We asked Mike if it waspossible to have a love seat so we could sit together in front of the fireplace. When we came back from dinner a chair for twowas in our room. What a perfect place and area to propose to the love of mine. We will definitely come back. I have never stayed at a completely comforting and all expectations met lodging ,till we went to the Globe. Quiet, and ... friendly, not obtrusive, but always available, is the staff.
