From someone who lived in Oklahoma--where the diner steak had a pulse in the morning--I know steaks. Nothing is better than a... truly fresh steak cooked rare or medium rare. Conversely, any steak older than a day loses flavor and typically requires morecooking and seasoning. In other words, many people who prefer medium well or well done steaks are likely eating steaks that arenot fresh. Well, I ordered a medium rare steak at the Texas Roadhouse and my tastebuds brought me back to Oklahoma. The steakwas tender without bleeding and tasted 100% natural. Our server, Derek, was polite, professional, and knowledgeable of the menu.He catered to our needs without ever appearing intrusive. Ours meals were exactly as we ordered. For a party of three, we spent$79 (3 8oz. steaks, 2 sides each, an appetizer, and 1 alcohol drink). Very reasonable considering the quality. The tables are alittle tight and crowded, and some families had kids that added to the noise. Thus, it may not be ideal for a romantic date, butit will certainly suffice for anyone who enjoys a good steak. Read more
See attached photo of steak kabob to go order…pretty sad looking. I did nothing to alter this. This is exactly how it came... from the restaurant. They also screwed up the order… ordered 2 dozen rolls but received 2 bags with 6 in each . Guess theycannot count..lol. I only mention this because I order and pay for 2 dozen rolls every single time and they always only send 1dozen but charge for 2. Just tired of it. Read more
As always food is incredible. Got myself the ribeye steak with fries and Mac and cheese smothered in onions and mushrooms.... Incredible! Lots of flavour and on top of that over the next table there had been a birthday celebration, which for those whodon't know means the special saddle is pulled out and the yeehaw cowboy calling from all the tables around the restaurant wassounded. Also no better place for fresh buns and the special cinnamon butter. Though the place was packed and we were 3rd inline, it only took 10 minutes ish to get a table which isn't bad. There is a lot of waiting areas and sittings while waiting.They also put you on phone wait list so you can leave and be notified when to come back. So if you want good food, and fairprices than hit up this place. And if you want to embarrass your friend or family member than show up on thier birthday, orjust make it up ???????????????? Read more
We used call ahead seating. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Our waitress was amazing. The rolls were hot, our... appetizers arrived extremely fast. We had a few drinks, also amazing and our food was delicious! It was everything we could havewanted for a special night out, without the kids. Read more
Highly reccomend David as a server. He was upbeat, friendly, and catered to our needs of the table. The food came out in a... timely manner, people were well mannered from when we stepped into the restaurant to when we left. The food was cooked toperfection, and David was very well versed in the menu options that were available. Sadly, no Hi-C which was listed on the menubut I can not hold that against them. Got to the table, waitress was friendly but didn’t ask how our food was. Got our drinks and appetizer. Forgot bread until we... asked. No straws were available which was fine. But then the bread is slightly burnt. And it went quick since there’s 4people. She never came back and asked how the appetizer was or if we wanted more bread. Then we get our food an hour later,mashed potatoes had cold spots and the rice was mushy. The kids order hot dog and fries was fine but they used the rolls for thebutter as hot dog rolls. Everything else was good though. Not very good and I always go to Dartmouth Texas Roadhouse and it’salways an amazing experience and I always tip 20% plus because its that good. We came at a prime time, got our names in. They promised 10 minutes to call us, but was able to get us in 5 minutes. Food was a... bit of a wait, but it's expected as they were crowded.
