Great Place, Great people. Have everything you need from a snack to a whole dinner party.
The sushi there is pretty amazing. I got the California roll and tuna avo roll they both taste very fresh.
I normally do not shop at this store because it is out of my way. Last night i walked in to get a few drinks and a tobacco... product. The Spanish lady asked for my i.d. so of course i agreed. i had simply asked her if i needed to take it out of its seethrough case and she respectfully declined. For some odd reason the white woman with dyed black hair stared me down and said "you know, i think people who ask to take out their ids are jerks, truthfully." I pretended not to hear her and walked out, butas soon as i left, i just wanted to tear her a new ear! At the Hess sometimes, they make me take it out AND they scan it,because i look younger to certain people. So its not my business to know every stores policy on being id'ed. I should be able toask a simple question without being talked down to. I was having a wonderful day until i came across her, she truthfully ruinedmy evening. Believe me, i am going back today to get that woman fired for being rude to me without a just cause, or else i willnever be shopping there again! Read more
Most amazing breakfast sandwiches.
I dreaded writing this review but this is a corner store that I truly like. I have been coming here religiously for a good 8... years. I have recently moved out of east Hampton but I still make the trip at least twice a week. Today I stopped by to grab afew item. I lost track of the young lady on the right that was ringing me up. The younger one. I noticed the last item she rangwas way pricier than the last time I was there which was two days ago. I didn?t want to make a scene so I asked her for myreceipt and she gave me a receipt without the items listed. I asked for the itemized receipt which she had no idea what hat Iwas saying. I waited patiently until she asked the older lady, which she just looked at me and turn around with a frown. Theolder lady seems yo understand English a little more so I asked her. This was her response ?we are busy right now? I proceed toask for the manager and she responded ?we busy and the manager busy? not in a pleasant way. The young lady flashed me off withher hand which many people would find extremely rude. That rub me the wrong way so I decided to wait on the manager. He was verypolite and seems understanding. He explained that because the young lady started ringing up other customers he can?t get thereceipt. I know it is hard to find help, especially good help but to hire rude people who can hardly understand English is a bitof a challenge. Also, is it wrong to ask for a receipt when you think your being over charged? What is happening here is not ok.I really like this place and I don?t intend to stop going here but you have to keep your eyes open at all times when somecashiers are here. The young lady looks like she has no idea of what she is doing which make things a little more suspicious. Read more
