I set a time and time again this place is quite nice as a smaller but a decent seating capacity. It is more a family run... restaurant and everybody is friendly. I pretty much give breakfast and only chef salad because those are the things I like theyhave much other things on the menu. I've hurt my hip and it was unable to get out of my truck. Was no problem whatsoever for thewoman to run out my meal to my truck and pay for it right there. I think the woman's name is Tammy but I'm not sure absolutelywonderful woman. And she assured me that if I needed to have my meals run out to the truck it was a okay by her. That was verynice of her Read more

My first time here and it was amazing! Thanks to Kelly, Marge, Jim and Dan. They make you feel like you are family! The waitress... was sweet as pie - very accommodating. Shared my experience with a friend who didn?t make it to the game at the Sports Complexjust down the street! Stop by whenever you want something different and a very personal touch! Read more

This is good quality food for a bargain price. The owner is Greek, so all those specialties are excellent. The menu is large and... the portions are generous. The eggs benedict is a special treat at a low price. The wait staff are friendly and quick. Thisplace will make you into a regular customer. Read more

East Haven needed a diner, but this is not the one it needed. Let me explain briefly what I noticed in my experience... there: Upon entering, I was not given any direction if I'd be seated or if I would be expected to seat myself, but it appearedthat I could just sit down anywhere. As I walked in, I was stopped by a friendly person, who I'm unsure if he even workedthere. He was wearing a generic shirt for Crooks an Castles. Not sure how or if I was supposed to know that he worked there, but when I told him I was looking to seat 6, he seemed genuinely puzzled. I offered to split up the table for 3 and 3, becausemy group did not want to make it difficult for anybody. After saying nothing, he left and got another chair and tried to add itto a 4 person booth. We squeezed in, trying not to be difficult and were ready to just accept that this was a new place.Luckily the neighboring table gave us a their table, which was slightly bigger and we were able to sit comfortably. After 20minutes, we were finally acknowledged by a waitress who apologized and very kindly got us water before realizing that we weren'teven given menus. After getting us menus, we waited another 15 minutes before even being asked for our orders The menuactually had several spelling errors which seems like it was never reviewed. It wasn't actually affecting the order, but it isnot professional to publish all those menus with several problems. Because I selected a special, I was told that I could nothave chocolate pancakes with my meal, even as an up-charge, which I was happy to pay, if offered. Once the food actually got tous, my wife noticed that she did not get her food as the menu described it. When asking the waitress, she told us that the itemin question was made as expected and that there was nothing more for it. We got a hold of another menu and was able to tell herthat the menu differed from what was given to us. The waitress then grabbed the dish, walked away, then walke Read more
