Decent treats for the most part. I absolutely loved my custard puff pastry, but the blueberry cream cake was a little odd and... had almost a wet texture to it. The cannoli was good, but not the best I?ve had in the area. The croissant was good also, butjust good. Not amazing. If you?re in the Lansing area, I?d rather make the drive to Flour Child in GL. What happened to this place??? It is not as good as it used to be. No ceramic mugs anymore, only paper even if it is "for here".... I suppose the pandemic is used as an excuse for this :) More importantly, the staff don't know the difference between anespresso macchiato and a caramel machiato and when explained still want to charge it like a regular cappuccino sized drink. My favorite chocolate puff pastry, my Husband loves the raisin rolls so we always get one of each. Sometimes I need the... delicious macarons or the jamando. Cannot go wrong with this local gem! Read more

Fresh and good service. Of the 3 things I got, the Oreo was the best, it wasn?t overly sweet like you would expect and the... frosting is so light and fluffy. The fruit tarts can be better, the crust wasn?t as hard as I thought it?ll be. There was not acrunch to it. The cheese cake was good, although not sweet enough for my taste. I wish there was a larger selection as well.You?ll have to go early if you want to good stuff. Over all it was a good experience. Read more
Very delicious! I expected the desserts to be very sweet but they somehow managed to make it light and very tasty with less... sugar than normal sweets!???? Would love to come back next time I'm in town! Also staff was very helpful and kind! Read more
This is one of my absolute favorite places to visit when I'm in EL. Amazing drinks and desserts, exceptional customer service.... So glad I went with Chapelure for my wedding!
