I'm a ramen fan and honestly haven't found many that check the boxes. Decided to try the volcano ramen since it had lots of... love. The server described the heat as 6 out of 10. I understand that's subjective. It was more like a 15 out of 10 for me.After the first taste my lips were and mouth were on fire. I couldn't eat it without knowing there would be revenge at the endof the night. When I told my server this they offered and added additional broth. Still too much heat. Tried Mi Sushi for the first time tonight. Loved it! Highly recommend Poke bowls and to ask for menus to bring home. Many... wonderful dishes to choose from at a reasonable cost. We will be back soon! Read more
We have been to some of the best sushi restaurants in the greater Lansing area. This place just doesn't do it. The prices are... cheap compared to high quality sushi. But cheap prices explain the dull flavors. We ordered several rolls and they had no flavorat all. I could tell they don't season their sushi rice properly. Then all of our rolls were not made right, they all fell apartlike a messy whopper. It was kind of disappointing. I personally won't go back. I rather spend a little more money for greatsushi or just make my own at home before I eat here again. The place was decorated so cute, and clean. People don't know goodsushi, this is not it. My girlfriend and I order carryout from this place all the time. We love trying all the veggie rolls (we're vegan). i am... typically not the most fond of sushi, but this place has amazing rolls & plenty of options! My gf is a connoisseur of sushi, andshe says that Mi Sushi has better sushi rolls than most of the high end restaurants she used to go to when she lived inCalifornia. When you stop to pick up our sushi, we always say to ourselves that we'll dine in one day because the place is socute and nice! Mi Sushi had a variety of selections varying from sushi, soups, rice, curry dishes and the lunch special. Furthermore, there... were vegan/veggie choices. I got the udon veggie soup which is pictured and comes with tempura on the side. I also ordered thetempura avacado roll and sweet potato roll. My spouse ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and she thought the broth could be more richbut overall enjoyed it. Really fun little spot to go eat! The decor here is perfect and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rolls are very... well done and some of them are huge. I think this is one of the hidden gems in Lansing. It?s quite removed from the city center. I love the small and cozy feel of... the place. The service is great as well. The ladies here are so friendly and love having conversations. The food is also verygood. The portioning is generous as well. Just look at the chicken on the curry!
