Pete?s Sweets made our October 2021 wedding cake. The cake tasting and decision-making was a delightful experience. Pete is so... easygoing and upfront about certain aspects of the decision-making process that we wouldn?t have thought about. He is also verycommunicative and flexible. The cake was beautiful and delicious and we can?t wait to unfreeze the leftover cake we have in ourfreezer for our first anniversary. Lovely and easy to work with and the cupcakes were delicious!! We had vanilla espresso which each had a dark chocolate espresso... bean on top. Strawberry and lemon coconut. The strawberry was bursting with flavor and the lemon coconut had a yummy custardlike cream in the middle. Best cupcakes ever! Great to support a local business. Read more
I live nearly an hour away from Pete's Sweets, but I make the journey a few times a year to get my hands on their cake! I was so... lucky to have had my wedding cake done by them. Peter made the process so easy and stress free. Not to mention, the cake wasincredbily moist with a tender crumb, and frosting that wasnt too sweet, and complimented the cake in every aspect. Pete?s Sweets is a gem! We used them for our wedding cake and it was not only gorgeous but absolutely delicious! Pete and Mary... are absolutely lovely and helped us find the right cake for our smaller group size. The cake looked flawless and was exactlywhat we envisioned. We had our wedding cake made by Pete's Sweets and it was so perfect and delicious. We had to reschedule multiple times due to to... the pandemic, and they worked with us effortlessly to make sure we still had the best cake ever. It was delivered on time,looked fantastic, and tasted even better! We chose a combination of almond cake and chocolate cake, with a strawberrybuttercream inside and vanilla buttercream outside. Everything from the tasting to the rescheduling to the actual wedding daywas perfect, and we could not be happier with the whole team! If you?re looking for the best cake you?ll have in your life, go to Pete's Sweets! Pete has been my go to sweet spot for all... birthday and celebrations. (My mother in-law who lives 2 hours away requests his cake for her birthday every year. No bakerycloser is an acceptable substitution!) When we got engaged, there was no question on who was going to make our desserts. Peteknew what we liked and delivered! He made us a personal cutting cake and a variety of cupcakes for our guests to enjoy and boydid they! His desserts were the talk of our wedding! Read more
Pete and his mother were so easy to work with and SO accommodating! Mary was there to answer any questions I had and Pete... executed my dream wedding cake to perfection! I gave him my ideas he gave his professional opinion which I appreciated more thanever and then went on to make the most beautiful and delicious cake ever!
