Alfredo sauce was good. Waitress was great. But place is going downhill. I've been going here for over 20 yrs and the booths... are torn apart and seems like quality is going down. I still will go because I enjoy family owned businesses but things needto step up Read more

Wish I could have eaten there. A friend recommnded the fish so drove almost an hour to get there and find they are closed for... the week. I even checked their facebook page and website before going to make sure they were open and nothing said they wereclosed so wasted my time & gas to find them closed. Read more

Over the last 25 years, as we have moved and lived all over Europe and the US, while keeping a permanent hub in Allegheny... county, we have remained fervent patrons and customers at Rene's. The genuine quality of their food, simple but high quality andmoderately priced, and the friendly welcoming staff, have kept us returning, over and over. Read more

Phenomenal fish sandwiches. Best anywhere in the country. Some claim to be the biggest, some claim to be the best. Rene's is... both!!! Read more

Great place, Great food, Great prices, efficient and friendly staff. Always a great place to have a meal. I tried to have lunch... there yesterday and after checking the opening time on the website was greeted by a paper notice hanging on the door of thesummer hours. opening at 3pm instead of 11am. If you have a website ,that should have been updated as well. A paper noticehanging on your door, isn't the best way to keep your patrons up to date. Read more

Great little Italian place hidden away in East McKeesport. They have always been very courteous and friendly! the restaurant... itself, while old fashioned, is impeccably clean and I have it on good authority that the kitchen is spotless as well. I hadthe fish sandwich and this is one of the biggest sandwiches I have ever seen! It's really well done and tastes just like youwould want a fish sandwich to taste. Great breading and cooked perfectly! Combine this with the French fries and Cole slaw andthe honestly there would be enough food for two! Oh, and the price was incredible to boot. We should support theseindependently owned, family run places in this day and age. With food this good, it's easy to do! Read more

R-Time at Rene's has been a neighborhood staple for years. With its quaint atmosphere, and photos of local celebrities & sports... stars all over, Rene's offers good quality, great prices, terrific food, and excellent service. This place is perfect for adelicious meal, anytime. The fish is HUGE; plenty to share, or take home for seconds! Menu has such a variety, with something foreverybody; pizza, salads, entrees, sammies and all very yummy. Build your own pasta is a favorite of mine, or stop in onTuesdays for the all-you-can-eat pasta special! If you live near the E. McKeesport, PA area, give Rene's a try. You will enjoy. Read more
