A East Meadows institution since the 1950’s for so many reasons. Many visit Borrelli’s for their well known pizza and for me... was no exception. We had the large margarita pie baked to perfection with ample sauce and fresh mozzarella. Overall fairpricing and very friendly atmosphere great for family and or get together. Live music on weekend evenings a bonus. Only reasonnot 5 ?? because my dinner felt rushed which I totally understand every restaurant needs to turn over tables however since Iordered a bottle of wine their staff should know that we may tend to be a little longer to sip and enjoy but kept I’m askingif we were ready for the check. Having heard alot about this place, decided to give it a try. Located on Hempstead Turnpike I was not fully impressed by the... dinning. There is parking and accessible for the disabled. The inside is spacious with tables and booths. It serves typicalItalian fare including pizza. But the food leaves something to be desired. I opted for sausage and peppers with penne pasta. Igot a plate piled with slices of sausages with onions and peppers and another plate with penne pasta on sauce. This was notparticularly appetizing in its taste or presentation. The other entree was Lasagna. While you eould think that this is anItalian staple, this one was bland and the pasta did not seemed fresh or like it was reheated once too often. The garlic breadwas also a miss as it was just like eating toasted roll. Ordering a alcohol beverage also was challenging. They did not carry avariety of name brands and in settling on a dark and stormy, I had to explain what the drink consisted off. Needless to say itwas anything but dark or stormy. Over all for an Italian restaurant that has some old world charm to its decor, it could do alotbetter with their menu and taste of their food. Read more

Great restaurant! Mozzarella sticks have a great taste. Pizza was A+. Got a personal pie with mushrooms and green peppers, super... tasty. Oreo ice cream cake was delicious. Read more
Not too sure if I would go back. Service was ok, food was sub par. The crab bisque had a lot to be improved on, but I was hungry... and forced myself to eat it. Bread basket was good. The spinach was expensive for the pile of green mess that was served.Overall, not a great experience and I would not return. The cannolis are a must if you visit though! Read more
We were just at Borrelli’s trattoria for a bridal shower. Conveniently located on Hempstead turnpike right off the Meadowbrook... Parkway, there is ample private parking. We had a spacious semi private party space but the tables were a bit crowded. The foodwas good and our server worked very hard to please everyone. Clean bathrooms. No complaints. Read more

What a find while on business travel. The marinara sauce has incredible flavor and zest, served warm with hot mozzarella... sticks. The pizza crust has a warm Italian bread flavor. Warm and soft on the inside surrounded by a crispy crust. Theoverall wait staff was engaging with their guest. Giving “high fives” to their junior patrons. Very family friendly. Frank, my server, was very attentive. Mark was particularly hospitable, discovered he coaches youth soccer, and been part ofBorrelli’s for 18 years.
