Ordered through grubhub. Paid for delivery and a tip just to be delivered the wrong meal. Then had to drive to go pick up the... correct meal. Defeated the entire purpose of ordering for delivery and wasted my money on tip and delivery fees just to have togo pick it up myself. Will never order from here again. This is my first and will be my last order. Read more

So happy to have a local authentic Filipino restaurant close to home here in Suffolk county. We’ve had such positive... experiences dining in - great ambiance, service and delicious food. We’ve catered their lechon kawali and lumpia shanghai-it’s always a hit at our parties. Excited to dine again soon! Read more

Not the best not the worst. Price is decent for portion. If you can’t go to queens for Filipino food this is a good option.... Comfort food …they do charge a service charge pay attention to your bill. Avoid tipping twice … Read more

I'M BEEN VERY UPSET WITH THIS PLACE ON MULTIPLE TIMES. As a Filipino and a lover of Filipino food, I really gave this place... multiple tries, but today is the last time I eat their food. On multiple occasions in the past when I tried ordering food, whoever answers the phone is just nasty. I understand we all have our bad days, but as someone that is also in the customerservice industry, that is no way to talk to someone that wants to buy your food and support your business. Since it opened, I'veordered from Kabayan probably about 6 times and actually ate there once. I have to admit that the one time I ate there, it wasgreat because I think the owner served my group. However, literally every time I ordered food to take out, it was not pleasant. On top of all that, the food is way over priced. Now on to today, my fiance (who is not Filipino) was over charged for ourfood. She picked up the food and being the polite person she is and refuses to have confrontation, she brought the food home andconsulted me about it. Now this is what she ordered - Panicit Bihon ($8), 6 Pork BBQ skewers ($8 total, 4 of them was a combodeal and the 2 extra were $2+change per stick), and a side of vegetables. Now, I'm not great at math, but my fiance paid $35total, which does not make sense. Knowing my fiance, she's willing to work things out, but like I also mentioned, she hatesconfrontation and she described the cashier as rude to the point she wanted to just leave because she wasn't treated right.Honestly, I wasn't surprised when she told me that. The cherry on top... I just wanted Garlic Rice with my Pork BBQ skewers....BUT ALL I GOT WAS WHITE RICE, WHICH EVERY FILIPINO ALREADY HAS IN THEIR HOUSEHOLD. Thanks for opening my eyes Kabayan Grill. You have lost your business with me and will gladly go to Philippine Best in Hicksville to get my food. It's worth the trip. Imiss Metro Manila, another Filipino restaurant that used to be down the street. Read more

My wife and I have been looking for a good Filipino restaurant in Long island. We normally have to drive to Queens to a place... that we know has good food. We decided to give this place a try and was not disappointed. My wife had the adobo pork and I hadthe barbeque chicken meal that comes with rice. We also ordered a side order of garlic rice and for appetizers the lumpiaShanghai rolls. The garlic rice was a little hard but my wife, who is Filipino, said that older Filipinos eat it with coffee asa snack like that. The rolls were really delicious and full of flavor. If you are in the East meadow area and want some goodFilipino food I would recommend this place. Read more

I gave this establishment four stars mainly due to their outstanding staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. I thought... the food was okay. Their other location in Elmhurst actually has better food but the service here is much much better. You canbuy from the ready cooked options next to the register or you can order from the menu. They also offer different platterspecials. The prices are about the same as the other locations. They have plenty of parking which is very nice. And thislocation just feels cleaner and brighter. It's not as crowded as the Elmhurst location so it feels much more civilised. Read more

Don't bother ordering catering from this establishment. You WILL be ripped off. Trays are offered in three different sizes... (small, medium, large). We ordered large trays of Chicken bbq, Kare Kare, and Bicol Express. What we recieved were small traysof these items, and when questioned about the size of the trays was told that these were in fact large trays. I wonder whatsmall and medium look like. I feel like I was robbed. Read more
