Texas Roadhouse is my go to whenever I'm craving steak but don't want to break the bank for a meal. The hot bread with cinnamon... butter is always on point, and my table always ends up devouring a few baskets since the bread is so good. The steaks itself aregreat and of the many times I've been here, they've only messed up my order once (and promptly corrected the issue once Ibrought it up to them). The prices that they charge for their steaks are very reasonable and the service is always friendly. Thelast time I was there, I got to choose one of the steaks from the front and managed to snag a 24 oz Sirloin, which was huge andcooked exactly as I wanted it. Overall, Texas is by far my favorite steak chain and as long as the quality and service remainsconsistent, I will always be a customer. Also, this place has a big parking lot. Read more

When we are in the East Meadow, Long Island area, we try to stop at Texas Roadhouse. They have a number of great burger and... steak choices and you get your orders' level of doneness correct. The food was amazing, very tasty and fresh. However when we were taken to be seated out table was not properly clean and we... found a piece of bread on the table, we notified our waiter and he was very polite and had someone clean it. Let me just say - the level of service I received tonight was nothing short of VIP. I showed up after calling ahead and they... rolled out the red carpet lol honestly i got a good laugh tonight because whatever i said when i called ahead had them on theirtoes and attentive to us every beat of the way throughout our dinner. I'm a simple man but when it comes to service i have tosay when people go above and beyond. Being I am about 40 minutes away I called ahead to make sure before driving all the waythere they would have Prime Rib (the main reason I was going) and they kept two 20 oz cuts aside for me. This was our first time here. We were seated immediately. We started out with the appetizer combo (potato skins, mozzarella... twists and boneless chicken wings with hot sauce). The chicken wings were pretty good, crispy and full of flavor. We followedthat up with grilled portobello chicken with a side a Caesar salad and steak fries. Also got the chicken critters with a side ofrice and fries. Overall the food was good. Quick service. Portobello chicken had nice flavors to it with sauteed mushrooms. Ourserver was friendly. 1st time guest. Went with wife for dinner on a Tuesday. Overall, good experience. Service was good, not exceptional, but fine. ... Restaurant was clean. We had the deep fried onion as appetizer, no complaints. 1st basket of bread was cold but very tasty, 2ndbasket much better. I had ribeye, cooked perfectly, with chili and steak fries, all hot and cooked perfectly... when it arrivedat the table. My wife had NY strip with baked potato and salad. Potato was barely warm and steak, ordered medium well was undercooked(pic). But, my biggest complaint was the gap around the window. I could see light through it and feel the cold March aircoming in. It brought the temp of my food down quicker than I would have liked and we had to eat with our coats on even thoughthe rest of the restaurant was a pleasant temperature. A few tubes of caulking and an hour would make a big difference as wellas cut heating costs. Would still recommend the restaurant and hope to convince wife for a second trip. Read more

It's always a good experience coming to Texas Roadhouse. Remember to get on the waiting list (by calling or set up on app) so... they can text you when your table is ready. The free fresh bread is so good I had to buy a dozen to go. The 14oz Ribeye was sotender and juicy. The steak kebab was a very good deal. Lots of meat and the rice was so flavorful. The sides fill us up. Ourwaiter, Nick was so attentive and so helpful the dining experience was so much more memorable. Read more
