Had hibachi. Food was great. We did have to wait a bit at the table. There only seemed to be one hibachi chef at the time so... that is most likely the reason for the wait. We walked in to around 6 people waiting in front of an empty hostess stand. A person came out with takeout order 5 minutes... after we walked in gave it to a man and left again. Came back a couple of minutes later then told us 10 minutes to sit forhibachi. Now 15-20 minutes until we are seated and it is not busy as all. A little strange on a Friday night! Get to table withthe other people then have to wait another 15 minutes to put in order. As we are putting in orders the woman across from meordered sushi. The gentleman said "Sushi will take a long time." How long? No other explanation. Weird people reviews mentionedsushi being good. I was confused. I ordered Sushi for my niece who wasn't eating hibachi. We settled on coming to Kabuto insteadof going out to a sushi place so we could try something new. Our hibachi was okay. It was too sweet. Most hibachi places I havebeen to add garlic. Flavor was lacking. Also the chef was cooking the seafood, steak and everything all together in the middleand cutting steak and then flipping seafood and cross contaminating all the food. Some people don't eat red meat and don't wantall the food mixing together. Overall really disappointed in the lackluster experience. I’ve placed several large sushi takeout orders from Kabuto over the past year. Their online ordering system conveniently... enables you to order in advance for a slotted pickup time. For us, appreciate the food but service is mixed. The rolls aretasty, creative, and reasonably priced. That’s what keeps me coming back. Highly recommend any of their specialty rolls andtheir classic options, like the lasagna roll and ocean roll, are awesome. Also, the Oshizushi roll is a pressed style (on theapp menu) which is rare to find. Unfortunately, they do not execute consistently. The first order I placed was missing anentire roll. Since then, twice I’ve been missing an item and they are always at least 15 minutes late. Last night my order wasover 30 minutes late and they forgot my salad and duplicated one of the rolls instead of including the lasagna roll I ordered. Iunderstand short staffing, but with 10 hours notice and a prepaid $200 order you’d think attention to detail would bebetter. Ultimately, I’ll be back to give Kabuto another shot but advice is check your takeout order thoroughly. Hopefullylast night was just an off night and not an indication to lower expectations because I really do appreciate their sushi! Read more

Unexpected shopping center delight! Went in around 3pm on a Saturday and we were the only ones in the restaurant. They check... temperature at the door and wear masks. The menu is pricey, but it was worth it for the quality of the sushi. We also got thefried rice which I didn’t like, but my boyfriend loved it! The only not so nice things were the coldness of the restaurantitself and the women’s bathroom was pretty dirty. Will definitely be back! Read more

Hidden gem! The sushi here is good! I can’t believe I’ve never been here before My sister and I came here for happy hour and... it was wonderful! The restaurant is big and really beautiful! It’s really nice and has a separate area for hibachi We got theshrimp tempura, coconut shrimp, yellow tail jalapeño, ocean roll, salmon avocado roll, and doing tuna roll which was all sogood and 10000% worth the price for happy hour. Then we also got a sex on the beach roll (special roll - not happy hour) Thisplace is EXCELLENT for happy hour! I can’t wait to come back to try their regular dinner menu! Read more
