The first time I went to a different Brownstones, I ordered poached eggs and they tasted like vinegar! So I waited to review... this place, until I gave it a second shot, because the atmosphere, menu, and servers are all really good. I was hesitant toorder poached eggs again, but my friend ordered them on the side. I had the poached egg avocado breakfast, with fried eggs easyover, in lieu of poached. The coffee wasn't anything to rave about, and the corned beef hash wasn't exactly good. It tasted of too much vinegar. The... potatoes it came with were a tad salty, but cooked perfectly. The rest of my table felt sort of hum drum about their meals aswell. That's a problem when you're going to put exciting SOUNDING things on the menu (like different takes on eggs Benedict),but they come out seriously lacking something. The only reason I would consider going back to this place is for coffee, astandard breakfast, and the SERVICE. The hostess had a great big smile on when she welcomed us in and sat us right away. Ourwaitress was also very attentive and pleasant. These ladies are the type of people that belong working with the public. Theexperience they gave us is what earned this place the stars I gave it. A great spot to take the family for brunch. I have had several things from their brunch menu and was never disappointed. The... French toast bites really hit the sweet tooth spot. The staff is always friendly and the dining area clean. Prepare for a waiton the weekends if it?s for brunch as there is often a line. Would recommend! Read more

The best french toast bites I have had in years real crispy with the fresh friuts so its not to sweet, we took the half portion... to share. The other dishes we had were good but not excelent They have seating outside which is perfect on a sunny day. Read more
Is it too much to ask for a pleasant lunch experience? Apparently not, at Brownstones. Surprised to find it was a franchise- it... doesn?t act like one! Fresh and hot food, super pleasant (and professional) service and reasonable pricing- home run! Therestaurant was hustling and so were the staff to keep up with the orders and food, but in a fun and enjoyable environment! I?llbe back! Read more
