Lota Veco is a hidden gem. They have wonderful vegan options (though there are many non-vegan options too), and they are... extremely accommodating. The menu has unique dishes that can be altered for preference, and they have some great drinks also. Wesat outside, but the inside has a great vibe. LOVE this place... I'd appreciate a warming tray or something for take-out because cheese and things get cool quickly...hint... hint. I've never dined-in, and I haven't tried the whole menu so I can't justify 5 stars but I appreciate the whole idea andfood options of this place and while the covers might be plastic on the take-out, the bowl containers are biodegradable. If you?re looking for a healthy restaurant, look no further than Lota Veco! Located in E. Northport, there?s plenty of parking... in the lot. It?s situated in a strip mall. Inside, the restaurant is so clean. I love the decor. This is primarily a take outspot but I sat inside. They have almost endless healthy options and vegan options too! This is a great place to come if you?rewatching your weight but still want an enjoyable meal. The prices are on the higher side but the quality is also high. I didn?tmind spending a little extra for a better product. The service was super friendly. If you want to eat inside, order at thecounter and an employee working behind the counter will bring the order to your table when it?s ready. The food was soooooofresh! I was beyond impressed with this place! I ordered 2 tuna tacos & 1 steak taco. I loved both equally. The tuna wasincredibly fresh. All of the ingredients were fresh and prepared to order. The store seemed extremely clean and the woman at the counter was extremely friendly and was very helpful with us making... selections on the menu. Excellent choice if your looking for a healthy organic meal. The Street bowl was fresh and delicious.The same also goes for the fajita bowl. The portions were good sized. The prices in my estimation may be a dollar or two higherthan I would have liked but I imagine it's a bit more work preparing everything fresh. I will definitely be back to try some newdishes. Excited about this new restaurant. Fresh, clean food, so many choices it was hard to pick just one. Luckily or friends were open... to everything and we ordered a few dishes for the table to share as apps. The quesadellas were delish, the farro/quinoa saladwas fresh and tasty. The bowls were all great... Vegan, vegetarian plus non vegan options as well. The vegan cheese cake withcomplimentary acia smoothie shots were a perfect ending, along with a machiata.
